They wantued me to o <br /> into the house and inform them #` T thought there was a heal t1hazard. <br /> I entered the house around 7-. 45, found. as entering the hose 1,o the right <br /> was a, kitch.en area with bags o f what appeared to be ru bash a.nri empty bottles <br /> and opened food containers,. Then down hall to left of door fog rid a.' xoom which <br /> at one time was a. den. 1n the center* of this room was a woman stari ing very <br /> shaky on her feet - all around this woman was newspapers, magazines., old food <br /> rags- everything in this room reeked of human and animal excretion, 1 tried <br /> ..to get this woman to go to the hospital for treatment but she ',, pt refusing <br /> to go. This woman seemed to -me to be intoxicated, had jaundice and edema <br /> all of which should be taken care of. <br /> advised her .also that she was living in a real holth hazard and that she <br /> should have the place cleaned out as .it was unfit, for human`ha y-a,tion. <br /> 1 requested the Fire Chief be called also as she had lamps layin'a on the sofa.. 1 <br /> lit and without a shades also another lamp on a pile of papers and rags also <br /> lit without a. shade. <br /> - dere was- a yun teenager-Michael Murphy who also lived there which the <br /> i <br /> police Dept* turned over to the youth service. <br /> 1n gay opinion this woman needs help. <br /> Maybe Outreach could be called in. 563-2263 <br /> They have been trained to deal with special problems of- this nature <br />
