r
Mashpee Zoning
Board of Appeals Minutes January 8, 2003
Sitting: Edward Govoni, Jaynes Regan and Robert Nelson.
Attorney Robert Mills represents the petitioner. Mr. Govoni states that before this
hearing even gets going he does not want to hear it. It went through Design Review and
they denied it on 12-11-02. They were suppose to go back to Design Review and they
did not. Mr. Govoni informs the Board that there are a lot ofproblems with this lot. At
this point it is realized an error has been made and the Special Permit portion of the
petition was inadvertently left out of the advertising process. It will be re-advertised.
Mr. ovoni mentions that it is a pork-chop type lot, if the building were erected it would
be 3 feet from the lot line and the front door would end up on another lot. Mr. Govoni
would life to continue this upon return to Design Review. There will be no buffer to the
next lot building and this is a concern of Design Review. The process should have been
to go to Design Review before the Board of Appeals. Mr. Regan asps the architect to
show the Board a less detailed plan for better understanding. The Board also looks at a
landscaping plan.
After discussion back and forth between Mr. Mills and the Board, it is determined that is
should be continued to February 12, 2003. The Board moves for the continuance. All
agree. So moved.
The Board moves to accept the minutes from the December 11, 2002 hearing.
EXECUTIVE SESSION: The Board discusses the lawsuit before them and its
implications.
F
ctfully submitted,
VVfjj Lr
Lori Corsi
Zoning Board of Appeals
I W, N'v 0
P r' --• 'r
Of=
5
