<br /> T.C. : Thank you., Mr. Chairman, I think for the purposes of the record, we
<br /> would want the record to reflect that you are present chairing this meeting,
<br /> along with member Roland Wilson and Charles Buckingham, and that your full
<br /> Board of Health is convened and that the Board of Health Agent Mrs. Anderson
<br /> is here and that your Senior Clerk, Mr. Tallent is here and also present at
<br /> this meet i g, I recognize some of the people, I recognize Mr. Louis Lapio, and
<br /> perhaps *you could tell me your name sir.

<br /> 1984, from the Board of Health, specifically from Mrs. Leo yore C. Anderson,
<br /> the Health Agent, addressed to Thomas J & Therese M. O'Neill,, The letter
<br /> is .,ia yoiir fi les, Mr. Chairman Vm looking at a copy of it now, and- in that
<br /> particular letter, the -last,two ar ,graphs, or I should say the second last
<br /> a,ra,grthereof stated that� ie addressee of the letter Thomas J. or
<br /> Therese M. ' fe ll request a, Pearing, that your Board would give such a.
<br /> hearing and that particular notice was given pursuant to Section 15.24 of
<br /> 310 CNE, that is the Code of Massachusetts Regulations,,which is also known
<br /> as Title v of State Sanitary Cade, and in particular that hearing notice
<br /> that you have given in the letter, specified that the applicant or the addressee
<br /> had to give you notice within seven days of service of the order. I be-
<br /> lieve that this particular order was served on Mr. & Mrs. O'Neill by officer
<br /> Peary Elias,. T believe:it is., of the , Ma hp e Police Department on Mrs. Therese M.
<br /> o'Neill -at 1: 12 P.M. on July 5,, 1984, I further believe based upon my examination
<br /> of the records that within seven days of service of the notice that Mr. and
<br /> Mrs. O'Neill, through an agent of theirs, I believe it was their son, if I'm not
<br /> mistaken., requested this hearing and that this hearing i . being held in compliance
<br /> qothe requirements set forth. in Title V9 which I previously cited. The proceeding
<br /> to be followed at this hearing, is that the applica t, not the applicant, but
<br /> the addressee, the person to whom your order was addressed has an opportunity to
<br /> appear at this hearing, to give any cause whir the hearing notice, or the notice,
<br /> I should say, you sent, to that person should be rescinded, revoked, or modified
<br /> r in any way amended, altered or changed. And with that, Mr. Cha,i.nnan I would
<br /> inquire as t6 whether, or not, anyone here is present for the purpose of intro.
<br /> ducig or presenting any evidence to show cause why the order of the Board of
<br /> Health should be modified, orwith-drawn or amended, rescinded, revoked or in any-
<br /> way changed. Is there anyone here who desires to speak to this point?"
