Buckingham <br /> Members absent: Charles H. Lawrence, Roland il--L Wilson <br /> Mr. Buckingham opened the informal meeting `ith stating that <br /> Mr. Lawrence had the flu and Nor. Wilson was recuperating from <br /> fall. <br /> Larry Drago and Scott McAskil from New Seabury Corporation <br /> with regards to their septage discharge problems . <br /> Scott had prepared a worksheet with the present problem, <br /> plan of attack and possible solutions. <br /> Present <br /> Est. solid waste. . . . . 20 gal Plan of attack <br /> Est. liquids. . . . . . . . 12 00 gal Remove existing 12 ,600 gall <br /> by Labute <br /> Daily flog. . . . . . . . . . . 1000 gpd <br /> Remove remaining 4200 gal of soli <br /> After 3/7/85 . . . . . . . . . 4000 gpd by flushing thus creating 9000 gal <br /> of liquid <br /> chunkr waste to be re- <br /> iashpee lagoon daily. 3700 gpd moved. <br /> Accepting from La.bute1500 gpd <br /> Solutions <br /> Nixing waste w sand 2 to 1 and using for top cover at landfill, or, <br /> working with BOH and DEQE to exceed the Mashpee input to handle dis- <br /> charges prior to March 7th. <br /> Mr. Buckingham clue-stironed -what was being used at the country club <br /> at this point in time, Scott said'-"C-hat the laundry is being used, <br /> plus dishwashers to get the Inn ready for Plarch 7, opening. <br /> I onie suggested that the pumping should- be done at night and the <br /> following morning the lagoons could be utilized. <br /> After -much discussion it was derided that the Agent will call <br /> Phil Repa at DEE on Thursday 2121/85. <br /> The job description for the assistant to the Agent was discussed <br /> it was decided to ask Town counsel on 2/21/85 if the Board could <br /> go to a lower step in advertising the position and also the Board <br /> would like the Personnel Board to be advised that applicants will <br /> ` be interviewed by the Board ofeal.th' of 'to expediate ma meters . <br /> l.r. Buckingham would ,like the Executive Secretary and the Board <br /> of Selectmen to bpe advised-that George Silva., I .D. is the exami- <br /> ning physician for the Personnel Board only and not the Town <br /> Physician who according to NGL must be appointed by Board of Health. <br /> S <br /> Respectfully submitted.
