L Board of ,,Health t kMee�ing April 29 , 1985 Meeting called to order at p.m. Present: Charles H. Lawrence, Charles F. Buckingham, Health Agent Lre C. Anderson member absent: Roland L. Wilson (hospitalized) 1 . warrants signed. x 2 . CFB opened meeting as CHL hadn' t arrived, Nor. Buckingham stated that if there was riot a quorum by 7 : 00 ,m. , he would open bids for the Landfill. In addition, all matters on the agenda would be post- poned until next scheduled meeting. Nor. Lawrence arrived at .m. 4 . warrants signed. 5 . Minutes of previous (4/22/8-5) accepted as written, motion CFB, second by CHL. Office clock was deemed to be five minutes fast by CFB, Agent verified time with telephone operator, the clock was two minutes fast. VERIFICATION OF CORRECT TIME WAS NECESSARY DUE TO THE BID OPENING FOR LANDFILL, CLOSING OF SUBMITTING SAME WAS AT 7 : 00 p,m, 7 . Discussion was held re : Twon Accountant altering warrant after Board had signed same, this specific .instance was AT&TCSS, they had submitted a bill for $9 . 00 (quarterly payment for phone use, Town Accountant had crossed out the sum and entered $3 . 00 with a notation, 'Pay monthly only ' . It was recommended br CFB and CHL seconded motion that a memo should be seat to Accountant with a copy of same sent to Selectmen and Executive Secretary that this Board did not approve of any adjustments being made after they had indeed signed warrants for payment, furthermore, that either the Board should be consulted and/or personnel of the BH office prior to any change. S . CFB questioned when and if we had en't a donation- of $200 . 00- to the County as part of a fund to purchase water analysis equip- ment, This had been discussed previously and Nonie spoke to George Heufelder regarding same, and still we had no answer. ON TUESDAY, 4/30/55 NOME AGAIN CALLED COUNTY, STETSON HALL IS ON VACATION THE GIRL ON PHONE KNEW NOTHING ABOUT TO WHOM THIS MONEY SHOULD BE SENT, NONIE THEN LEFT MESSAGE FOR GEORGE HEUPELDFR TO CALL; UPON RETURN ING CALL GEORGE STILL DID NOT HAVE THE INFORMATION* 9 . DEQE letter to Chief Hartin re : razing (burning) of Channel_ Club on Saturday, May 12, 1985 NOTED 10 , Copies of letters sent to DEQE and Building Inspector, Boyd, read by members, sent under CHL signature. NOTED 11 .-, Copy of DEQE letter to Bldg Inspector Boyd re : Quashnet Valley Condomini z temporary f approval of grater supply wells . DEQE satis- fied that dei elop r- is in the process of providing suitable central- ized water supply, DBQE feels -that the wells can be used temporarily.
