� TOWN of MASHPEE <br /> OD of HEALTH <br /> MEETING <br /> May 22l 1985 <br /> Meeting called to order 6 : 25 p.m. <br /> embers present: Charles H. Lawrence, Roland L. Wilson, Charles F. <br /> Buc .ingham, Health Agent Nonie Anderson <br /> .1 . Warrants signed. <br /> 2 . Acceptance of minutes 5/8/85, 5/13/85 as written, motion CFB, second RLW <br /> 8 . Discussion on landfill contract, Mr. Lawrence said he had spo ent with <br /> Town Counsel re : Michael Murphy who had Mr. Ryan supply a letter of credit, <br />' drawn up by Ryan attorney. Town Counsel would not advise accepting a lc <br /> that was not drawn on a commercial lending institution. <br /> Motion by CFB to awsrd contract to S . Joseph DiMagglo <br /> Mr, Wilson replied "no way" he elaborated on past dealings he has had <br /> with SJD. <br /> Mr, Buckingham ingham then asked -if the Chair could second the motion. <br /> Mr. Lawrence said that he preferred to go into executive session with <br /> Town Counsel when he- arrived <br /> . Discussion held on Town Meeting wherein the' li,ne items were resolved, <br /> Clerk wage account cut from $2500 .- to $1.700, Health Services to $18 , 000 . <br /> Mr. Buckingham requested that the Agent provide the Board with legislation <br /> on autonomy of Board of Health. <br /> The Board would like reconsideration on omnibus, they requested that <br /> the Town Clerk issue time of line items and time of adjournment. <br /> toMonica McNally, .reporter . for Falmouth Enterprise who was present said <br /> hat Firs Com had stated the reconsideration could be requested at anv time <br /> prior to next meeting night. <br /> Decision of Sea Oaks preliminary agreement with letter of credit in the <br /> amount o $200, 000. as decided in Barnstabe Superior Count was discussed <br /> 6. Memo on July 2nd special town meeting for the funding of Landfill contract <br /> Fonio to write antice (OK 'd by Town Counsel <br /> 7. Agent report on her visit this date to DEQE re: Concannon, Pembroke Dr. <br /> only solution is for Concannon to solicit his neighbors and see if they want <br /> to request service from Highwood water Co <br /> 8 . Requests for percolation extensions <br /> Blakeman, 148 Edgewater - Dr. , 6 months extension <br /> Blakeman, 158 Deerridge Rd. , 6 months extension <br /> -Blakeman, 768 Fells, Pond Rd (4/21/83) denied, must have new perc test <br /> Ferragamo, 6 River Road, ' month - extension <br /> P & H 'gust, Deer Crossing on 12 peres for Phase II & III, 6 months ext <br /> Mr. Bucl inc'ham grade 'motions, second by Mr. Wilson <br /> 9 . After discussion with Town Counsel re: Landfill Contract and the restrain <br /> of Town Meeting with funding. . . . .Mr. .Buc inc am restated his former motion, <br /> Mr. Wilson seconded, and Mr. Lawrence stated that' the bid was awarded to S D <br /> 00 n the OK from Town Counsel. The i Board reque'ste' d a letter -to be seat to SJD <br /> sing that he appear on Wednesday, May 2 , with his bond and insurance. <br /> 10. Kelleher plan left on CHL' s desk by Mr. Collins was referred back] to Harol <br /> advising hire that Kelleher must request the Board of Assessors to corvine lots <br />
