The Board requested a memo (strong) to be sent to the Town Acct, , <br /> with copies to Board of Selectmen, Executive Secretary, Town Counsel <br /> and Personnel regarding- regarding the powers of this Board and the <br /> f act that the Town Accountant continually alters warrants originating <br /> f ron thi.s Board. <br /> . Mr. Wilson moved- to accept the minutes of the 6/17/85 meeting ac- <br /> cepted as written; Mr. Lawrence asked that item #4 of those minute <br /> reflect the fact that he removed himself from :the room during that <br /> hearing relating to catering at New Seabury, clambakes to be pre- <br /> pared by Popponesset Inn. CORRECTIONS ON ORIGINAL MADE ACCORDINGLY. <br /> 4 . Permit request for Mashpee Business Association for operation of <br /> food service at Circus. OK'd by Board for the $100 . 00 fee. <br /> . Permit request for DiMaggio for Carnival to be operated as a non- <br /> profit to benefit Sr. Citizens, Recreation, Hospice & Mashpee Safety. <br /> OK'd by Board at NC. <br /> . Nuisance complaint from owner at Pheasant Run, refuse being left <br /> on landing and not being placed in dumpster. Board requests letter <br /> to the Association informing them of same. Complainant Lucy Fabbo. <br /> 7, Request from Thomas Costanza for 154 Debbie Lane for extension of <br /> permits issued to S, Joseph DiMaggio on Feb. 1 , 1984 . Extension for <br /> six months granted from this date. <br /> Plans re-submitted for 76 Pine Ridge Rd. showing distances as re- <br /> quested by this Board at last weeks meeting. variances granted by <br /> Board. <br /> . School Nurse report for May-June. <br /> 10 . Board reviewed letter from Judith Giorgio representing Matsspire <br /> requesting letters to be sent to legislative persons regarding hazar- <br /> dous waste material s.. <br /> 11 . Board reviewed letter from Ms. Tavano, Forestdale Fid, wherein she <br /> stated that they had purchased home and did not ]snow the condition of <br /> the cesspool (Judy Giorgio had inspected previously and found it to <br /> be a menace) , they were attem piing to reach previous owners and take <br /> legal action.
