TOWN of MASHPEE tr BOARD of HEALTH Meeting SEPTEMBER 30 , 1985 Members present: . Roland L. Wilson, Charles H. Lawrence, Charles F. Buckingham Health Agent, Leonore C. Anderson Meeting called to order 6 : 25 p.m. by Co--Chair, Charles H. Lawrence. 1 . A, Mr. Tocci, o Harwich load, had a meeting scheduled with the Board re: his complaint of seeping of septage at 2 Harwich Road, the complainant never showed f-or the appointment, howeverl, this Board requests that Judy Giorgio observe the area for possible problem. . Motion by CFB to accept minutes of 9/23/85 meeting as written,, second CHL. . Charles Baxter, of Conservation Law Foundation, also had made an appointment with the Board, did not keep said, his was a concern for Harboriew Development, the residences located across from the Town Landfill, with regards to iron count. 4. Memo from FinCom request of this Board for blanket funding at Spec, Town Meeting in December, they request a member of the Board to be present at 6 : 45 p. . on October 7 , 1985 to indicated where these funds are to be designated. a. Mr.. Lawrence requests that separate legal funding 'be made available to this Board. b. Mr. Lawrence will be the member to attend the FinCom meeting. C, Mt. Lawrence requested -a list of the cut-back amounts and a list of the accounts from where the cuts Fere made. 5 . Com laint of Morn Polka resident of 27 Deerfoot Cir, re : owner of rug cleaning establishment, Lisa Smith of Hydro Jet Rug Cleaning using the catch basins in Santuit Pond Estates to deposit debris from machines. To be advised to cease and desist the practice and to come in to this office and pull permit to deposit at Town lagoons. 6 . Letter from Joseph and Silbert of -Baltimore., Md. , re : proposed development off Pimlico Pond Rd. , requesting ground water study, this letter- has been seat to Town Planner and Board of Appeals . This Board suggests that Planning Board should be made aware of the correspondence. i 7. Excessive pumping by Burtis on Riverside in Seconsett, back in April a form letter was seat to the Burtis ' and no corrective action has been taken, the Board requested another letter giving them ten days to an- swer with some plan to up-date system. 8 , Joseph Fontes sent into this office the g as ]wilts for 307, Hooppole for Paul Mager, permit issued to Norman A Otte. BOARD REQUESTS PRESENCE OF BOTH THE OWNER AND INSTALLER AT ITS" MEETING of 10/7/85 R 1 9. Reply of George Bingham, Jr. , Central Rd. re: excessive pumping at his residence, his reply ' stated that he had four systems, however, our records indicate from a sketch dram by Leslie Feist that there is only a cesspool on the property, BOARD REQUESTS THAT HE SUPPLY US WITH A SKETCH SHOWING WHAT HE CONTENDS IS IN THE SUB-SURFACE.
