BOARD OF HEALTH <br /> MEETING <br /> OCTOBER 21 , 19$5 <br /> Meeting Called to order at 6 :35 p.m. <br /> Members present: Roland L. Wilson, Charles H. Lawrence <br /> 11 absent: Charles F. Buckingham <br /> Health Agent also present. <br /> 1 , warrants signed. <br /> . Minutes of 10/9/85 meeting accepted as written, motion CHL, second RLW <br /> . CFB had left a note addressed to RLw & CHL re : depositing of paints, <br /> lacquers, thinners and other 'hazardous ' Materials at Town Landfill. RLw <br /> questioned whethr there was any place we could deliver these materials <br /> to for disposition, the Agent reminded him that no hazardous material was <br /> to be picked up by only an authorized firm through DEE. Some of the other <br /> questions asked: <br /> a, Will DEQE give us permi. s ion to burr? No <br /> b.. If not, what are sugesti+ons of DEE or SEA <br /> 5 <br /> The Agent will question. DEE and upon their advice we will Contact persons <br />` suggested by them; when a decision is reached we will advise DiMaggio and <br /> not accept any further deposits. <br /> . Luomas, owner of Lot 09 -Hooppole Rd. , appeared before the <br /> Board requesting extension of pert on the lot for one year. RLw motioned <br /> for the year, CHL seconded, with the prof s io that he Luomis should go <br /> ahead with the engineering, however, there will be no health permits is- <br /> sued until the cessation of the moratorium. <br /> . DEE letter to . eston & Sampson re : request for Class III around water <br /> classification, application cannot be processed without results of ceo- <br /> h rdroloc ical study. BOARD REQUESTS THAT w S BE PHONED. <br /> 9 . Correspondence from Exec Sec and DPW Virgilio re : removal of bath <br /> house facilities at Attaquin Park, Virgilio spoke to Agent who said that <br /> cesspool Could be filled and left in place., <br /> 10. Copy of proposed moratorium on land within Certain boundaries of the <br /> Town (see attached) . FILED <br /> Re: Item- 6 above, Board did not comment on letter (ensuing litigation) <br /> requested that letter be sent to Town Counsel. <br /> 11 . Memo from Board of Selectmen (Exec Sec) re: use of Legal Services of <br /> Town Counsel for elected and appointed boards, accompanied by forms to be <br /> used for request of service.
