Continuation of_ appearance, of Atty, Morris Kirsner
ItoCHL: "We ' ll inform you of any decisions that cone to this Bd. "
Mr. K: , Now I understand, I understand, because I had written my
I letter on February 14th, originally, and I hadn 't heard from any-
one so I called DEQE and I was told to write there a letter, and I
did.
CHL: "Well, if you wrote us on February 11th (note date stated)
we probably didn't get it until. February 17th which ' is Washingtons
.J Birthday and -we di.dn ' t .meet that week, we didn' t get it until the
24th. it
Mr. "I understand that, it may well be that you -will be getting
a letter from DEQE, but I think in the interest to all we ' d like
to resolve this as nicely as we can, "
CHL: "Oh, we have no problem with that Morris, the only we 're
saying i we 've acted the way we have because this is the way
we believed we were protecting the health of people around there . "
Mr. K: "Idon 't argue against that! "
VHL: "Ok, then basically there ' s nothing ether than what was
shown on the paper there, which I happen to agree with you on. "
Mrs K: "Then you do agree with me , so we both agree on that
particular issue. "
CHL: "Yes, you should have been shown. "
Mr, K: "I s that it?"
CHL: " o, it' s called a Mexican standoff,
Mr. :Not really, not yet, let ' s see where we are doing; again
bear in mind, I have no feeling against Mr. Collins, Mrs, Col-
lins,
ol-
1ins, they're nice people, yeh, they ' re the applicants,and un ,
questionably they relied totally upon . the opinion of Mr, War-
wick, as you fellows did. "
CHL: "If you look at that lot, there ' s not much else you can
do
t
n that lot. "
Mr. K. : ' You didn' t see the well , you didn 't even see a house. '
CHL: "No, I mean on .the Collins ' lot, you can 't go too much,
one way or another, without getting worse, the law says that
somewhere along the line you've got to use a little sense in
there, and I felt at that time this Board used common sense
to dive the best it could with what is them, "
Mr. K: "While it' s just regrettable that qty lot was not shown,
on that plan, because then perhaps I might have been afforded
the opportunity of coming in and discusging it, "
CHL: "But you have now. "
Mr. K : "I have now, but,a little bit, no too late, it' s never
too late, but I would have rather been in on the very outset,
however, you had no knowledge ge of it so how can I fault you. on
it, I 'm very gratefull for your time, I 'm very grateful for
your attention, I ' ll get copies of whatever you're netting
and we ' ll. to-e it from there, CK « Thank you very much.
