Lawrence., Char le s- F. <br /> Buckingham, Health Agent, Leonore C. Anderson <br /> 1 . warrants signed. <br /> 2. Minutes of meeting, March 17 , 19886 accepted as written, motion <br /> by CFB, second RLw. <br /> . Discussion by Board of the water test results in the Briarwood <br /> area, to be discussed detail upon arrival of stetson Hall and mem- <br /> hers o residents of Briarwood. <br /> . Discussion of results of testing. done in area abutting the Town <br /> Landfill, Agent bxplained, Summerwood results high volatile counts <br /> and the fact that George Howland had taken tests on Friday, March <br /> 28th to be analyzed by Lawrence Lab. <br /> . Residents of Briarwood, Stetson Hall,, sue Rask from County <br /> Health present to discuss water- duality problem in that area. Hall <br /> explained, that due to extensive testing in the Landfill area it is <br /> impossible to continue testing Briarwood, the solution would be ei- <br /> ther private laboratory and, in addition, residents should begin by <br /> writing to legislative members to assist in finding ways. Mr. Hall <br /> did state that he slid not feel that bathing in the water would have <br /> any serious -effects (this was his personal feeling) he would like ,to <br /> have the Air Force do further testing in the area cline to County Lab <br /> being occupied with the testing at the Landfill problem. Mr. Hall <br /> also recommended that residents use bottled water. Mr. Lawrence <br /> asked if there ,was an intent to supply these persons with water. <br /> Mr. Buckingham said he had requested that the Agent call! Otis AFB, <br /> which she had done and the answer was negative. <br /> Len Buck and Barnstable Builders requested occupancy permits <br /> for houses they had built on . Hooppol.e Rd. BOARD DENIED To ISSUE IN <br /> vI EW- of PROBLEM IN MORATORIUM AREA. <br /> . Memo, Board of selectmen, re : meeting Monday 4/14/86 on wags <br /> and means of providing watr service 'to Tri-Town Cir/Horseshoe Bend <br /> Way, BOARD MEMBERS To ATTEND, <br /> 8 . Distances as requested for Collins ' property on Rock Island Rd <br /> reviewed by Board relative to a complaint by Atty. Iirsner, an <br /> abutter of the Collins' who disputes the authority of Board to dive <br /> a variance fromâ–º lot line for leaching) wm. Warwick ' s office was re- <br /> quested to take distances before and after installation.
