4- BOARS OF HEALTH <br /> MEETING <br /> MINUTES <br /> April. 14 , . 1.9$6 <br /> Members present: Roland L . Wilson, Charles F. Buckingham. <br /> absent: Charles H. Lawrence (Hospitalized) <br /> i <br /> 1 . Warrants -signed. <br /> Minutes of meeting 4/7/86 approved, motion CFB, sec ibd RLQ . <br /> 3 . Application for "Christ the King" cafeteria approved. <br /> 4 . CFB remarked that he had spoken on the phone with CHL (as noted above <br /> he had just had all tubes removed and did not expect his recovery to be <br /> for at least s.ix weeks. <br /> NOTE: With. reference to #3 above, CFB had reservations because of there <br /> being no grease trap in the church kitchen, stipulation is that there is <br /> to be no grilling of hamburgers. In addition, CFB felt that the access <br /> door to the Ladies Room had to either be relocated or a partition installed, <br /> however, the Agent had spoken to Pr , Tcti about the relocation and it is <br /> being done. <br /> . The Board agreed to meet on Wednesday, April 23 at 3 :00 p.m. , in view <br /> f holiday, Monday 4/21/86 . CFB noted this would be a better choice in <br /> days because of the first public meeting of Weston & Sampson 4/22/86 . <br /> . Ltr from Town Counsel re: granting of occupancy permits to persons in <br /> the Briarw ed area with the following stipulations : 1 a Mater analysis <br /> must be done for volatile organics, 2 a release must be signed by the <br /> owner relinquishing the Board of Health/Town of Mashpee from any responsi- <br /> bility, <br /> espensi- <br /> biliter, thereby acknowledging the presence of non-potable water in the <br /> rea, and, ( must pair a fee for the recording of said release at the <br /> arnstable Counter Registry of Deeds. BOARD MEMBERS AGREED TO CO ALONG W <br /> T C RECOMMENDATION, CFB RLW <br /> 7 . Jim Miller- appeared before the Board requesting his variance. <br /> . Mr, DiMaggio appeared before the Board upon request, to answer the <br /> complaint that dumping is being done in the access road, no compacting <br /> and the wind blown papers. HE REPLIED TO THE FIRST COMPLAINT THAT HE <br /> WAS JUST DOCTORING UP THE ROUGH EDGES THAT HIS PREDECESSOR HAD LEFT, <br /> SECONDLY, HIS POLICY WAS TO COVER QUICKLY BECAUSE HIS FRONT END LOADER <br /> WAS PERHAPS BEING USED BY A MAN IN ANOTHER AREA AND LASTLY THAT HE HAD <br /> JUST PURCHASED A NEW MACHING WITH A RAKE AND THAT WOULD TAKE CARE OF THE <br /> WINDBLOWN PAPERS . . . . . . SJD ALSO SAID THAT MALTY PEOPLE JUST ALLOW THEIR <br /> PAPERS GO TO THE WIND, EVEN TO THE EXTENT OF BRINGING PAPERS IN CARTONS <br /> AND EMPTYING THEM OUT. . . . . .Mr. Wilson suggested that registration plate <br /> numbers be taken and letters of violation be sent and that a fine be es- <br /> tablished for littering, this was seconded by CFB, S `D REQUESTED A NEW <br /> GATE FOR THE ENTRANCE AND HE WAS ADVISED THAT THE EXISTING ONE HAS BEEN <br /> INSTALLED WITHIN THE BAST TWO YEARS. <br /> *****THE BOARD ADJOURNED AT P,M. TO ATTEND THE MEETING BEING HELD BY <br /> SELECTMEN IN THE AUDITORIUM ON NAYS AND MEANS OF SUPPLYING WATER TO THE <br /> HORSESHOE BEND WAY/TRI TOWN CIRCLE AREA. <br /> THE BOARD RESUMES MEETING 'AT P.M, <br /> Copy of 1tr from CCP&EDC to Sec. of Environmental Affairs re : Pine <br /> ill Estates which contained some of the comments that this Board had <br /> ade on this project.
