Costa <br /> Meeting called to order: 4:20 p.m. <br /> THE TAPE IS FOR THE USE OF THE CLERK I1 TRANSCRIBING THE MINUTES, IT IS NOT TO BE CONSIDDU A PART <br /> OF THE MEETING. <br /> 1. Warrants signed. <br /> 2. Minutes of meeting 8124187 approved with the addendum to be added to item 15 & 17 wherein Mr. <br /> Costa questions the jurisdiction over treatment plants and the role that DEE plays, "Lhtil we <br /> have the expertise of a Town Eng i neer" was the response of the Cha l r. hob ion to approve minutes <br /> s written,, GRC, second RL . <br /> S. Letter to Mashpee Baptist Church re: inspection and permitting to serve Sunday mming break- <br /> fast as written by Elias. GRC felt that the letter should be seat as written and await response. <br /> MDt i on GRC, second RLW. <br /> 4. The Con i ss ion did not refer to his advice and is- <br /> sued order of cordltions to applicant, Louise Behrmn then called here and told Elias he should <br /> write the applicant of his conditions) GRC recommended that memo be sent on to Conservation. The Mair asked that Elias give a report of his on site <br /> visit: He stated that there was a reported ''cuxkmr d log cabin-on the edge of Wad eby Lake that <br /> looked like it was going to fall into the I ae. Elias told C l un i n that he would first have t <br /> obtain a derm l i t h perTni t before getting building permit, the cabin comma i ned wood which wou l d <br /> be transferred to the basement of the proposed house when foundation is up. The family carne here <br /> frarn Maryland each year for two weeks they have water a chemical toilet and refrigeration. Mr. <br /> Costa said he had no problem issuing the building permit and that the ccnplairrt on the log cabin <br /> should b 'referred to Building Inspector.. The Chair felt that WCi uni n should core before this <br /> Board for permitting of the chemical to i let and insofar as cap p i ng this can only be doneith t he <br /> permission of Se I ectm n. An abutter, Bar ara Nichols appeared in defense of the M C l un i n's saying <br /> that she was fairly positive who had f i l ed camp l a i rpt and noted that the term of their visit was <br /> only two weeks of the year, <br /> 10. Discuss ion on complaints from Mary Ann Cover, Shorewood Drive. THE CHAIR NOTED THAT SHE FOR- <br /> MERLY RESIDED ON HOUSING AT 5 QUAIL FOLLOW RCS AND DURING HER TBMY THE SYSTEM WAS CONSTANTLY <br /> BEING Pu 'ED WITH LETTERS GOING TO THE OWER FOR THE INORDINATE AMOUNT OF PL Ii G (NOTE: ONCE SHE <br /> VACATED THE PREMISES THE SYSTEM CEASED TO BE PU ED . DISCUSSION WAS ALSO FFiD REGARDING THE <br /> STATE CALLING HERE TWICE ON FRIDAY AND HORSING AS. ISTAi E WITH RECU+EMATIONS OF WHAT THIS BOARD <br /> SHWLD BE DOING TO RS4MY TETE SITUATION. Edd AND EVERY TIME THE TS"T CA= THIS OFFICE AN <br /> ATTEVPT WAS MADE TO CALL RICH REAL ESTATE AND LEAVE A MESSAGE TO HAVE SYSTEM PL E . THE TDW <br /> AND LANDLORD ARE IN THE COURTS WITH LITIGATION. MR. COSTA RECO DED THAT MR. LANG FROM THE STATE <br /> BE REQUESTED TO APPEAR BEFORE THE BSD WITH S THAT THEM HAVE BEEN CALLING THE OFFICE WITH. <br /> NOTE: THE STATE WAS APPRAISED OF THE FACT OF THE FAILING SYSTEM IN THE Pl EVIOD.S DWELLING THAT <br /> DIDN'T SEEM TO AFFECT THEIR ATTITUDE. <br />
