Paul T. Anderson . Whitman & Howard) , a r i On McConnell Of Cotuit Water Comm,
Fred L. D F O (DeFeo, Wait & Assoc) Carl Gr ss ti representing Edg r%t n Development.
appeared before the board, w Stra,tfOrd Ponds.
Original submission of plan was for 62 units (interim, Phase I subsequent t
Sewage Disposal Plan) that would allow first 62 units to be built with septic tank
w leaching pits while determining wh th r, or not, the regional plant is going to
be a realty. Since then a number of conversations have gone on iwth ranges from
49 to 62, depending upon the parties agreeing.
The plan I have here shows the original leaching pits proposed next to Amos
Rd. , that area down-gradient Of the on-site well that we were proposing , but,, is
in the Zone of Concentration the Cotuit Fire District 11 .
What has been done based on meetings with the planning Bd and Whitman & Howard,,
what we've done is take an area that is On the fringe and if not out of the Zone Of
Contribution of the GOtuit Eire Dist and possibly the Mashpo T-B well site. W
have proposed to move the leaching for 'the treatment plant to Stratford Ridge Or,
to the West, in so doing we' ll be getting away from both wells as far as we can.
What we are proposing at this point is to rove the interim l aching system rather
than on the plan submitted -we will place that leaching up here as well (Ridge)
wing the first eight leaching pits for the interim, therefore moving the interim
as far away from b.Oth wells as we possibly can. We would send to you new revised
-plans showing these locations. The lurch '16th date would be for perk tests for
the plant and the interim systems. The flow for 62 units is 135680 .p.d. , if it
cones down to 49 it goes down to 10,600
Carl Grasseti says that Stratford Ponds is willing to issue to the Torn ars
irrevocable Letter of Credit from a bank for funds sufficient to build a -s ago
treatment plant, that gives assurances that the treatment plant will be built.
Discussions followed, however, both the Board and Paul and Mimi agreed to
the revised plan. Lotion GRG, Second GFB, Una'ni ous.
19. Bob Raymond, engineer of plan for Sandpiper commercial appeared before the Bd
there are to be 12 separate entities in four separate buildings. GRG WAFTED IT
UNDERSTOOD BY RAYMOND THAT BEFORE ANY APPROVAL TO THE , PLAN WERE TO BE GIVEN HE
WOULD NAME TO BE SURE OF WHAT SPECIFICALLY WERE GOING TO OCCUPY THE PREMISES.
Motion to approve GRC Second RL1 . Unanimous.
