4. <br /> TOWN of MASHPEE, BOARD of HEALTH, MEETING, MARCID 7, 1988 Page three <br /> Mr; Terrell addressed the' subject of daily flow by saying that an asses- <br /> ent of Title V flows was placed on each building , considering what the usage <br /> was to be and that totalled 38,541 gpd, and that by cutting back 15 seats ire <br /> one restaurant it total 38,000. <br /> The revised plan cited above to sent to D-EQE. <br /> The Chair said that he-would recommend to the Board that a decision is <br /> to requested of Town Counsel for a solution to the disposal of grease. <br /> Mr. Terrell .stated the disposal method should either be burial in the <br /> landfill or incineration, the proper method of landfill burial is to mix with <br /> watered sludge. <br /> The ratter of disposal will be discussed with Town -Counsel and referred <br /> to Sewer Committee. - <br /> 12. <br /> orritte .12i Joe Di Maggio appeared at the reuest of the Board to discuss Brockton <br /> Iron & Steel . Joe said that he had contacted this firm and 'also tried to make <br /> a deal with Gifford in Falmouth to combine white goods because this company <br /> needed 6 trailer loads before it would be feasible for them to pick up. The <br /> Chair asked Di Maggio if he were amenable, to contracting with this firm in Griew <br /> of the contract for the landfill whi b states that the metal pile belongs to <br /> 4 <br /> the Contractor. His reply was 'of course. ' <br /> The Board will pursue the ,matter further. <br /> 13. George Heufeld r appeared before Board with model regulation on underground <br /> storage that had been sent to members at bore. The quorum of members present a-' <br /> reed to the wording. ' Mr. Buckingbar to go over wording with Town Counsel at <br /> Friday a.m. meeting. <br /> George advised the Board that commercial owners of tanks had been advised <br /> via letter with the cooperation of Acting Fire ChiefThomas , and that some have <br /> already requested testing. <br /> 14.
