1988 <br /> 5 <br /> MINUTES June BOARD of HEALTH <br /> Mr. McQuaid stated the developers have been issued extensions twice <br /> before, He explained the soil nd i t i on s on: a few of the lots de not <br /> shave clay. <br /> Mr. Costa stated the policy of the Board has been to grant one sic <br /> month extension. <br /> Mr. Wilson motioned to deny the request for perc extensions due to .the <br /> poor soil conditions, .Mr. Greelish seconded, all agreed. <br /> 1 . Pert extension request, Bruce Fulton,, Ho-lland Mills, lots - 23,3538539 <br /> 419 425 43,5, 2 - Mr. McQuaid stated this is the first extension request <br /> for these lots. <br /> Mr. W.i l s. n motioned to grant the six month extensions as requested, Mr. <br /> Gree l i s -seconded, all agreed. Costa addressed the issue of the vacant Hazardous Waster Officer in <br /> the town of Mashpee and. commented the. F i e.. h i of is the .proper person-A _- old this <br /> position 1n the town. A k <br /> Mr. Costa requested a letter. be forwarded to ,the selectmen informing <br /> thea that. the position of Ha ardoug. Waste officer in the, town of Mashpee has <br /> been vacated and suggest they appoint the Fire h i of and forward to the fire <br /> chief all the necessary pamphlets, <br /> - Pa <br /> f <br /> r <br /> Mr, Creel i sh informed the Board that he will be forwarding to the Selectmen <br /> a letter dealing with the landfill fee. He stated he would like the fee re-set <br /> to a more equitable amount. Mr , Greelish suggested the second and third vehicle <br /> be at no charge and will request the requirement for fee not to be arbitrary. <br /> Mr. Greelish explained, that in his opinion, the disposal permit is not <br /> a user fee but is a necessity to every household in the town. <br /> Mr. Costa stated he has no objection to Mr. Greelish inquiring to the <br /> Board of Selectmen. <br /> { <br /> Mr. Wilson motioned to adjourn this meeting at 4: 18 p.m. , Mr. Greelish seconded, <br /> all agreed. <br /> Respectfully submitted <br /> Veronica Warden, Principal Clerk <br />
