MINUTES November 1 ; 1988 4 BOARD of HEALTH <br /> The Board, r. -Murphy and the representatives present from Weston & <br /> Sampson were in agreeance for a b-i d closing date of January 13, 1989. <br /> Mr. Gree l i s h motioned to authorize payment to Weston & Sampson for <br /> processing of bid documents and correspondence of November 1 , 1988 in the <br /> amount of $1200.00, Mr. Wilson seconded, all agreed. <br /> APPOINTMENT: Cape & Islands Surveying, Co. regarding lot 2, Route 28 (intended) <br /> i <br /> use and lots 25 & 33 Industrial Drive <br /> Mr. john Slavinsky, Mr. David San l.cki and Mr. George Toomey were in <br /> attendance for this appointment. <br /> Discussion took place regarding lot 33 at which time Mr. Slavinsky <br /> explained to the Boa-rd that the owner is proposing two buildings on the lot, <br /> each building will -maintain one septic and one well . <br /> Mr. Sa.n i cki informed the Board that the owner is in the process of ob- <br /> twining approval from the Design Review Committee and has applied for a Special <br /> Permit -from the Board of Appeals. Mr,. a n i ck i stated the purpose of two systems <br /> on the lot will require the parties within each building to maintain the upkeep <br /> and us-e of -their system, <br /> Mr. Costa explained that the requirement of 25 persons per lot is a`regu- <br /> lation. . . <br /> Mr. Toomey responded that he is aware of the regulation and commented <br /> that proposed utilization of both buildings is for warehouse use. <br /> Mr. McQuaid voiced his concern as to the proposedwells and the number of <br /> occupants per building and requested the builder to submit a letter stating <br /> their future intentions to hook-up into public water once available. Mr. <br /> McQuaid also voiced his concern as to the proposed owner of one building and <br /> the prior problems involved with the vehicle maintenance he performed. <br /> Mr. - Toomey responded that catch basins will be installed around the peri- <br /> met r of the buildings. <br /> 1r. McQuaid suggested gas and -oil seperators be installed and maintained <br /> by the owners. ' R <br /> Mr. costa stated he would- like to reserve comment pending review by the <br /> Town Planner. : % . <br /> Mr. Sanicki requested approval from this Board to dig one test well . <br /> ir <br /> The Board was in agreeance. Y <br /> Discussion took place regarding lot 25 Industrial Drive at which time <br /> Mr. Sani ki explained to the Board that the owner is proposing to construct <br /> a office building with assembly and warehouse space with future expansion of <br /> the warehouse area. He commented the owner will employ 20 individuals upon <br /> initial construction of -the complex.
