' TOWN OF MASHPEE (A BOARD of HEALTH April 12 , 1990 Meeting called to order- at 7:00 p.m. Members present: George R. Carta and Stephen J. Greelish THE TAPE 1S NO THE PURPOSE OF TRANSCRIBING MINUTES Mr, George R. Costa, Chairman 1. Warrants signed . Mr. Greelish motioned to accept the minutes of April 5, 1990, Mr. Costa seconded. . Public water supp1 eva 1 u at ion by. D.E t.. -- Ravi School. Town lull. - Mr. McQuaid informed the Board an emer- gency repair permit was issued for the well in 1988. B.E.P. randomly selected this site for their annual public water system sanitary survey, Mr, McQuaid stated he does inform D.B.P. , on an annual basis, of all town building water sup- plies. This emergency repair was in close proximity to an underground storage tank, the tank was examined by L.G.R. tank removal . Soil and v. . , samples were taken at which time it was decided the tank should not be removed, but in- stead pumped, cleaned and filled with concrete and the well replaced. Mr. McQuaid stated he would like to consult with 8. , . personally prior to any actions taken by this Board. Board members agreed to the consultation, Mr. Costa informed Mr. McQuaid he would like this Board notified immediately of any conflicts with D.E.P. 4 , ) MeM froM So. chore Recycling - Acknowledged . Response from K@n Bova "Winslow Mei ht " - Mr. McQuaid stated Mr. Bova did submit an overlay of the subdivision de- lineating the location of two unearthed u.s.t. 1 o Two or three additional tanks were unearthed but were not indicated on plans. Mr. Bova was also requested to provide information as to whether homes were constructed on the sites, in which case . *o. testing would be conducted, however this too was omitted from plans. Mr. McQuaid requested this matter be continued until further investigation. Board members were in agreeance to the continuance.
