MINUTES April 2 , 1990 2 BOARD OF HEALTH <br /> Mr. Evans informed the Board Angel t s has purchased a <br /> cardboard compactor and will now except cardboard from out- <br /> side businesses. <br /> Ms. Dubin informed the Board Barnstable County Recycling <br /> Committee will next meet on May 2 , 1990 at which time they <br /> are requesting each town to provide the percentage nate o <br /> tonnage brought to SEMASS by the town and private haulers, <br /> Acknowledged. <br /> . Rd_. <br /> Mr. Evans found the system to be in failure. <br /> Board members forwarded their signatures to the #'Emer- <br /> gency Repair Certification" form. <br /> 4 , ) Illegal ash stos dumRing, .MjitinggRoad - Mr. McQuaid <br /> relayed although asbestos is acceptable at the landfill he <br /> would recommend contacting D.E.P. for proper procedures. <br /> . Greelish requested Mr. McQuaid consult with D.E.P. <br /> on the method of removal and notify Fields Point of their <br /> recommendations. <br /> Mr. costa commented he did consult with Kevin Harrington <br /> in regards to road blocking. Mr, Costa stated gates will be <br /> erected with one key for all locks. <br /> . ) Memo from agent - items for discussion - <br /> 1, Bumper stickers - Mr. McQuaid informed the Board the <br /> Recycling committee has requested the purchase of 500addi- <br /> tional bumper stickers. Board members agreed to the request. <br /> f 2. Port#o-Johns - Mr. McQuaid informed the Board he has <br /> received complaints regarding Boaters relieving themselves <br /> within public view. Mr. McQuaid suggested this Board require <br /> Port -o-Johns at all boat landings. Board members agreed with <br /> Mr. Mc uaid's suggestion. Mr. Costa requested Mr. McQuaid to <br /> forward a memo to the Harbormaster and Shellfish Committee. <br /> Construction dmpters - Mr. Costa suggested phis <br /> Board require developers to provide a dumpster at all new <br /> construction sites. Mr-. Costa recommended the Building In- <br /> spector make the determination as to whether a dumpster is <br /> required at the construction site. Mr. Costa requested Mr. <br /> McQuaid to prepare a regulation which will be presented , to <br /> the Building Inspector- for approval. <br /> i <br /> . ) Memo from e t r ea-Land containers - Board mem- <br /> bers will visit the site to view containers available for <br /> purchase. <br /> i <br />
