MINUTES June 21 , 1990 2 BOARD OF HEAL'T'H <br /> Nis. Mills voiced her concern with the existing septic <br /> system servicing the structure and commented the well servic- <br /> ing the entire complex is located less than 1001 from the <br /> septic. <br /> Mr. Gre e l i sh informed Ms, Mills the we l l was approved <br /> s a of a non-community public well , therefore the State <br /> mandates quarterly water testing. <br /> Ms. Mills questioned whether the sampling is witnessed. <br /> Mr. Evans informed Ms, Mills the State does not require <br /> sampling to be witnessed. <br /> Mr~. Greelish stated the report does indicate an apparent <br /> leaching condition. <br /> Ms. Mills stated Mr. Kerfoot was of the opinion results <br /> indicate more than one system in failure. Ms. Mills recom- <br /> mended this Board contact Mr. Kerfoot t.o explain the results <br /> of the report and the ramifications of its <br /> Mrs Evans relayed in order to make a determination as to <br /> which system or systems are in failure each system would re- <br /> quire individual testing. Mr. Evans commented one test was <br /> performed with dye, during a period of heavy rains, with <br /> negative results. The report submitted indicated all samples <br /> were taken during or immediately after heavy rain falls. <br /> Mr. Costa recommended Mr. Evans request aid from the <br /> BCHED. <br /> Mr. Greelish requested Mr. Evans obtain Mr, Halpern's <br /> permission to inspect the structure at the "Riverben " , and <br /> determine whether the structure is habitable. <br /> Mr. Evans requested a Building Inspector to accompany <br /> hire at -the time of inspection. <br /> Board members were in agreeance. <br /> Ms. Mills requested the Board forward any information <br /> regarding water sampling to the Planning Board. <br /> Board members were in agreeance. <br /> 2.
