MINUTES June 21 , 1990 3 BOARD OF HEAL'T'H <br /> pleted, as stated in the proposal, by July 1 , 1990 , Mr. <br /> Greelish seconded. <br /> 4 , ) Request from Mashnee Water District re: Notice to <br /> Briarwoo residents -- fir. Costa stated he met with Mr. . <br /> Orlando who has requested this Board to assist the Water- Dis- <br /> trict in recommending all residents, not hooked into public <br /> water by July 1, 1990 , (within the moratorium area) , sign up <br /> for health purposes. <br /> Mr , Greelish stated the plumbing inspector is insisting <br /> upon any flow back valves and disconnection when they hook <br /> the wells to the sillcocks. Mr. Greelish requested Health <br /> Agents to work out guidelines as to what kind of physical <br /> separation is required between the two systems that would ad- <br /> equately prevent well hook- p. <br /> Costa recommended mandatory capping of the wells. <br /> Mr. Greelish agreed and commented if mandatory capping <br /> is instituted the Town -may be required to provide the funds <br /> for hook-up <br /> Mr. Doherty requested Health Agents to research as to <br /> whether the town could be held financially responsible for <br /> mandatory water hook-up <br /> APPOINTMENT: Jack Howard - Waquoit Landscaping <br /> Mr, & Mrs, Howard were in attendance for this scheduled <br /> appointment. <br /> Mr. Costa informed Mr. Howard it was brought to this <br /> Board's attention that extremely large amounts of debris are <br /> being disposed of at the landfill . <br /> Mr , Howard responded he services over 82 locations <br /> within the town of Mashpee. Mr. Howard stated he has pur- <br /> chased a chipper and disposes of landscaping debris only. <br /> Mr. Costa reminded Nor. Howard that the landfill is to be <br /> utilized for work clone only within the town of Mashpee. Mr, <br /> Costa requested Mr. Howard to submit to this Board a list of <br /> all Mashpee customers. <br /> Mr. Greelish explained to Mr, Howard the current <br /> composting program# . <br /> . ) Di_sposal of infectious material-, (MMS) .,._._ landfill <br /> Mr. Evans informed the Board Mr. DiMaggio found a hazardous <br /> waste container full of syringes.
