+v <br /> MINUTES June 28, 19 BOARD of HEALTH <br /> Mr, Botello was in attendance for this scheduled ap- <br /> pointrent. <br /> Mr. Botello questioned the Board as to whether, once <br /> town water becomes available, all residents on the island <br /> will be required to hook into public water. <br /> Mr. Greelish informed Mr, Botello this Board is requir- <br /> ing a legally enforceable plan that will prevent the system <br /> from being inadvertently hooked up while awaiting public wa- <br /> ter, If abutting wells, located within 150f f the septic, <br /> are not abandoned the Title v system must remain inactive. <br /> *****NEW BUSINESS***** <br /> 1991Landfill . „ Joseph <br /> DiMaggio <br /> and Town of .Hash <br /> Mr, Doherty stepped down from this issue as it was found <br /> a conflict of interest. <br /> Mr. Costa motioned to renew the fiscal year 1991 Land- <br /> fill operating contract between S. Joseph DiMaggio and the <br /> Town of Iashpee as per contract specifications, fir. Greelish <br /> seconded. <br /> Disposal -of Tires <br /> Mr, Doherty recommended enforcing the removal of tire <br /> rims as an additional fee is charged for those tires with <br /> rims and commented the individuals name, sticker number and <br /> quantity of tires should be kept on record by, the gatekeeper. <br /> Board members were in agreeance to Mr. Doherty's recom- <br /> mendations. <br /> Mr, Greelish recommended this Board institute a regula- <br /> tion requiring all Commercial tire dealers to retain records <br /> of all used tires and means of disposal , <br /> Board members were in agreeance <br /> Mr. Greelish requested Mr, McQuaid contact the local <br /> newspaper and request they publish an article regarding <br /> proper procedures for disposal of tires at the landfill. <br /> Landfill Stickers <br /> Mr. Greelish requested 1 r. McQuaid to forward a memo to <br /> the Town Clerk stating this Board is requesting their- person <br />
