This meeting has yet to be arranged, we have been
unable to contact the engineer.
1. The amount of 3/411 to 1 1/211 washed stone around and
below the galleys is not indicated on the plan. The calcula-
tion indicates 31 , but is not stated.
2. Location of a benchmark elevation not found on plan.
This benchmark must be visible from all septic component lo-
cations. All elevations must be verifiable.
3 . Unless this project has already been exempted from the
Cape Cod Commission, since the building square footage is in
excess of 10 , 000, the plans should be reviewed by the Com-
mission.
4 . Final grade over the leaching area not shown on plan.
Inverts to leaching galleys appear to be well below top,
thus decreasing sidewall area and leaching capacity.
5. Landscape plans show trees on or very near leaching
galleys . Roots must not be allowed to damage sewage system.
6 . Septic tank details not given (tee-lengths) . Rod for
bull-run valve not shown. All components must have H-20 load
capability.
7. Drainage from basement floor drains must lead to a
tight tank, which requires DEP approval , since this is con-
sidered industrial and/or hazardous discharge due to possi-
ble oil contamination OR eliminate the basement floor
drains .
8 . Parking area drains should have MDC type separators.
