Greelih seconded, all agreed. <br /> . Progress report from--Water District lir, McQuaid in- <br /> formed the Board he met with M . DeDecko and' Mr. Date Ellis <br /> ,garding Summerwood hook-up. Apparently, two years agcy the <br /> -,toWn had agreed to hook-in the four buildings that had corp- or <br /> firmed contaminated wells. The condominium association is <br /> arguing whether or not they are f ancially responsible for <br /> n <br /> hook-up to the remaining 17 buildings. Mr', McQuaid stated he <br /> would recommend, where there is conf firmed contaminati-on of <br /> certain private wells in "Cotuit Corners' , and based on the <br /> letter and the availability of public water, this Board en- <br /> force the newly adopted regulation requiring mandatory public <br /> water hook-up. Mr. McQuaid questioned the Board as to <br /> whether the town would be held .financially responsible if <br /> mandatory hook-up is required and suggested a meeting with <br /> members of the Water District. <br /> Board members agreed to a meeting with members of the <br /> Water District. Mr. McQuaid to schedule a► Meeting date. ) <br /> Oo f shellfish water sam l re ul s - Mr. McQuaid <br /> brought to the Boards' attention the low coliform . counts <br /> found in the samples taken from the Riverbend area. <br /> Mr, Greelish stated the Board will forward their com- <br /> ments at the presentation. <br /> 5, ) Copy of letter from. D.Q.P. to Fields Point re: <br /> Non-Compliance - Mr, Mc'Quaid relayed the Plant was inspected <br /> on July 20 , 1990 at which time certain requirements were <br /> found to be in violation.
