Sec. re: Explanation of town bldg, pumping procedures <br /> Mr. McQuaid explained to the Board that this memo is - as a ,result o � .� <br /> discussion taken place with Mr . Murphy. <br /> 10. Memo- from Exec. Sec. to all dept' s e: Water test results - Mashpee <br /> schools - The Board was notified of the results prior to this meeting. <br /> 11 . Copy - F.Y. I. - The Mass. Plan for Nonsmoking & Health - The Board <br /> acknowledged receiving the pamphlet. <br /> 12. Letter from Janes Plunkett to B.O.H. r e-, Pumping - Pilgrims Pride - <br /> Mr. costa explained to the Board that- he did speak with M . Plunkett <br /> and the Sewer commissioner and commented Mr. Plunkett did state that <br /> the system rust •be pumped consecutively for a period of two to three <br /> days. Mr: Costa requested Mr. McQuai-d to inform pumpers of the pro- <br /> blem and request their assistance with this project, prion to any repairs <br /> taking place. <br /> 13. Letter from Cheryl Grooms to B.O.H. re: Removal of U.S.TS -- Route 130 <br /> and Cotuit Road - Mr. McQuaid exp ained to the Board that Nis. Grooms <br /> is requesting an extension of .time," in -whi h to-remove the 'storage tank. <br /> Mr. Costa motioned to grant the extension as requested with expiration <br /> date of February 20, 1989, Mr, ,Gree l i sh seconded, a l l ag reed. <br /> Mr. McQuaid informed the Board that Chief Ridgeway has been informed, <br /> from a reliable source, that no tanks exist pat the site. <br /> 14. ) memo from Carol acobsen ',re: D.F.Q.E. > c.c. .M..P.- meeting Mr. <br /> reelish suggested a copy of the U.S.T. re lstra ions along with a <br /> letter be forwarded to oil companies servicing the areas in which <br /> they are located and commented this procedure would aid in detecting <br /> which tanks have not been registered <br /> T THIS TIME, the Board discussed articles for annual town meeting. <br /> Mr. McQuaid informed the Board that an article for the part-tine posi- <br /> tion <br /> osi- <br /> tion has not been submitted. <br /> Mr. C,osta explained to Board members that new positions for various town <br /> departments are not looked upon favorably due to the increase in the F.Y. 90 <br /> budget.. Mr. • Costa suggested this Board withdraw its request for an additional <br /> part-time psiti•o:n,the Board was in agreeance and upon motioned duly rude by <br /> Mr. costa and seocnded by Mr. Greelish motioned to withdraw the request for <br /> an additional part-time position. <br />
