Costa e; Final _lagoon rehab. cost & sludge burial Costs - Mr. -Costa stated in speaking with Weston & Sampson^he was informed the procedure should be Completed by the D.P.W. as. opposed to Brockton Excavation and C mm'ented in speaking with Mr. Virgilio, he has refused to perform this operation, Mr. Oreelish stated Brockton Excavation was retained to more -the material to an area in the- landfill at which time -the D.P.W. , under We stop Sampson supervision,, was required to cover it as part' of l andf i i i opera- tions. Mr. Gre l ish requested Mr. McQuaid to forward a memo to Mr. Murphy informing him that Mr. Virgilio is required to Corer the material at the landfill , as this is part of landfill operations. Mr. Costa stated he would review prior Correspondence between -this Board and Mr. Virgilio in regards to the landfill , for review at' the next regularly scheduled meeting. Mr. Costa voiced his Concerns with the amount of metal at the landfill and questioned the length of time it has. taken to obtain the E.P.A. num- ber. Mr. Costa requested Mr. McQuaid inform Mr. Virgilio that his a-ttendance is requested at the net regularly scheduled meeting, F 1c - L P ' 12. Response to Agent' s request for info. re. Acceptable SEMASS Waste from E.A.,C.- operations, Rochester, .6MA - , Mr. McQuaid informed the Board he did request this information to better Educate the Citizens in this torn with disposal procedur s-. Mr. Costa discussed the possibility of maintaining control of the land- fill area if the contract is awarded -to the town and commented he wouid research this matter. Mr. McQuaid suggested a contractual agreement be secured with this Board . . and the D.P.W. i f they are awarded the bid. 14. ) Flyer from Mashpee Concerned citizens for the public schools - The Board acknowledged receiving this flyer. 15. ) Seminar announcement of public swimming pools, May 8,' 1989 - S.M.U. Mr. McQuaid suggested a health agent attend- this meeting. The Board was in agreeance. 16. ) Meeting announcement, S.A. .H. , Mashpee is a merber 4/25/89, 6:30 p.m. , North Att eooro -- Mr. Costa requested a health agent attend this meeting. 17. ) Copy of letter from Carpe & Islands to Fernandez re: Septic Repair P ans - M . MCQuaId informed the Board Cape & Islands have submi-tted a written list of all repairs performed, free of charge, for Mr. Fernandez acid Commented -they recommend the system be installed accord- ing to revised plans.
