ti page 2 <br /> (5) The spraying of restricted use pesticide products within 100 feet of <br /> any wetland, stream, pond or other watercourse is prohibited unless <br /> written permission is granted by the Conservation Commission and proof <br /> thereof is received in advance at the Board of Health. <br /> (6) The spraying of restricted use pesticide products within 100 feet of <br /> any dwelling, barn or other habitable structure is prohibited unless <br /> written permission is granted by the affected owner(s) and/or tenant(s) <br /> and proof thereof is received in advance at the Board of Health. <br /> (7) There shall be no spraying of pesticides if the wind velocity exceeds <br /> five knots as stipulated in State and Federal regulations and labeling <br /> instructions covering the outdoor application of pesticides. <br /> (8) Easily visible warning signs, indicating the potentially hazardous <br /> effects of the chemicals applied shall be posted as per existing state <br /> regulations. <br /> (9) All water tank vehicles engaged in the spraying of pesticides/herbicides <br /> must be equipped with a Department of Environmental Quality Engineering <br /> approved anti-backflow prevention device. The anti-backflow device <br /> shall be inspected according to D.E.Q.E. policy and proof thereof be <br /> in the possession of the applicator. <br /> ( 10) The syphoning of water from any pond, stream, river or other water <br /> course within the Town of Mashpee into a water tank vehicle for the <br /> purpose of applying pesticides/herbicides is prohibited. <br /> ( 11 ) The filling of water tank vehicles shall be accomplished only through <br /> a hydrant designated by either the High Wood Water Company or the <br /> Mashpee Water District unless permission is otherwise granted in writing <br /> by the Board of Health. <br /> ( 12) An application for hydrant use must be filed with and granted by either <br /> the High Wood Water Company or the Mashpee Water District. A copy of <br /> the permit must be in the possession of the applicator and must be made <br /> available upon request. <br /> (13) Each company engaged in the application of pesticides within the Town <br /> of Mashpee shall apply for a "Pesticide Applicator Business Registration", <br /> to be issued by the Board of Health. This registration shall be renew- <br /> able each January 1st. The fee for such registration shall be $_5D- - <br /> (14) <br /> _5D- -(14) Each person engaged in the application of pesticides for hire must possess <br /> a valid license or certification issued by the Department of Food and <br /> Agriculture and must present such upon request. <br /> (15) Each water tank vehicle engaged in the spraying of pesticides within the <br /> Town of Mashpee shall be inspected by the Board of Health prior to the <br /> application of treatment. An inspection sticker shall be affixed to <br /> such vehicles by the Board of Health. The validity of such inspection <br /> stickers shall be concurrent within the "Pesticide Applicator Business <br /> Registration". The inspection sticker fee shall be $10.00 each. <br />
