MINUTES May 15, 1989 2 BOARD of HEALTH Mr. Creelish explained the computerized card system stating valid,, temp-, orary., --etc.. num b rr .arse .entered into the system, once entered persons who ob-- tained stickers prior to system operations may be issued cards, commercial haulers and pumpers will be issued a different set of cards. Mr, Murphy questioned the value of stickers once the card system is func- tioning. Mr. Costa responded if the sticker cannot be visually seen. the Agent or Contractor would�.Jm e iately question the car owner. Mr. Gr elish disagreed with Mr. Costa 's -response stating the Agents will be spotchec i ng vehicles therefore:_sti c ers,f ill.,not- be necessary.• -. , , ,I Nor, Murphy stated if fees are increased a change order will be required as`-we1�1 Sas:-_approval from the Selectmen and commented this issue may not be resolved until the middle of June. Mr. Murphy suggested 'both articles, for the June ballot.,-be combined as one. Mr. Gree 1 i sh requested Mr. Murphy to explain-to Ms. Jacobson what the contigency is in terms of two articles or the combined article., Mr. Murphy stated he would present this ratter to bks. Mr. Doherty stated he will be abstaining from any voting on issues pertain- ing to operations of the landfill , contractor or any companies associated with the contractor. Nor. Doherty stated -he would like to correct that to read as follows: Mr. Doherty stated he will abstain from any voting on issues pertaining to the contractor or companies associated with the con- tractor. of the landfill/transfer station. Mr. Greelish motioned to accept the minutes as presented with the amend- ment, Mr. Doherty seconded, all agreed.
