MINUTES June 1 , 1989 2 BOARD OF HEALTH <br /> er <br /> ti <br /> Mr. Costa informed Mr. Zammer he will be required to receive approval <br /> from the Conservation Commission prior to this Board rendering a decision <br /> on the lot. <br /> Mr. Zammer explained to the Board that he has filed a "Determination of <br /> Applica-bility" with the Conservation Commission and commented as part of the <br /> agreement the existing asphault driveway will be removed and replaced with <br /> rush4ed shell , as weal as , the grass lawn which will be replaced with beach <br /> grass. fir. Zammer informed the Board the existing cesspool , stradl ing prop- <br /> erty lines wili be removed. <br /> Mr. McQuaid informed the Board all abutting properties are receiving High <br /> Wood Water and commented Mr. Zammerwill require a sideline variance. <br /> Mr. Tomasonis informed the Board that- he is installing a well on his pro- <br /> perty. <br /> Mr, Costa responded -that- the well is not taken into consideration if his <br /> dwelling is hoofed into High Mood Water. <br /> Mr. Tomasonis voiced his concern as to the elevation'-of the proposed <br /> driveway and the possible run-off onto his land. <br /> Mr. Zammer started his existing driveway 1S be 1 ow ground l eve 1 s of abutting <br /> Io <br /> ts and commented that his engineer informed him that removal of the a sphau 1 t <br /> will improve drainage. <br /> Ms. Tomasonis voiced her concern with floodl ev a-t i on s. <br /> i <br /> r. Costa informed hiss Tomasonis flood elearaptioris are a Con e ry t'on <br /> Commission issue. <br /> Ms. Tomasonis questioned the Board as to why -the septic. system cannot <br /> be piaced in front of the lot. <br /> Mr. Gree 1 i sh explained to Ms. Tomasonis that the engineer must place the <br /> system appropriate distances from wetlands ,, foundation, roads, etc. <br /> Mr. McQuaid stated where Mr, Zammer has filed a "Determination of Applic- <br /> ability" , <br /> ppIic- <br /> abi1i.t#y" , an "Order of Conditions" will be issued from D.E.Q.B. . <br /> Mr. Greelish motioned to grant the sideline Variance as requested with the <br /> stipulation Conservation Commission approval is received, costa seconded. <br /> PRoIiTI T: ape Islands - 1 2 Whippoor ill i cle - alloy) <br /> Mr. John Slavins y, representing -the firm of Cape & islands Surveying , <br /> was in attendance, as well as, abutters Edward saffony and Mr. & Mrs. Flaherty. <br /> Ir. Slavinsky informed the Board the owner is requesting a variance to <br /> a 1 ,000 gallon leaching pit and a Var-iance from the ashpee regulations re- <br /> qu i r i ng 1501 from wells to leaching area.
