i <br /> Iahpee Board of Health <br /> Page Two <br /> 2 , 3 All student restroors will be monitored by school <br /> staff. <br /> 2 . 4 students will only use water to flush the fixtures <br /> and wash their hands in the sinks. <br /> 2 . 5 supervisory staff will ensure that students will <br /> wash and dry their hands thoroughly. <br /> Classroom Protocol <br /> 3 . 1 All faucets and bubblers in each classroom will <br /> be turned off. <br /> 4 , Administrative Protocol <br /> 4 . 1 All water bubblers located in the hallways will <br /> be turned off. <br /> 4.2 Nine refrigerated bottled water dispensing units <br /> have been rented and .placed in strategic locations <br /> throughout the building. These units will provide ' <br /> necessary drinking water. Disposable cups will <br /> e utilized. Additional units, if necessary, will <br /> e rented. <br /> 4. 3 A letter from the building principal to all <br /> students and their parents will be sent hone on <br /> Wednesday, September 6 , 1989. <br /> . 4 The local press have been notified and a joint <br /> press release has been prepared (attached) . <br /> 4 . 5 'All steps will be reviewed with students and staff <br /> daily. <br /> 4 . 6 Throughout this period of inconvenience, the <br /> Superintendent of Schools and the Coombs school <br /> principal will work closely with the Board of <br /> Health to ensure the -safety of all and the quick <br /> resolution of this problem. <br /> L <br />
