Warrants signed <br /> . ) Mr. Doherty motioned t pt the l minute o Y 114 e 16, 1989, 1 • <br /> reelish seconded. <br /> . Latest lead test results Christ the ;ding Mr.. McQuaid informed the <br /> Board the second round of sampling. date November 17; 1989 -indicated <br /> lead leve-Is below 50 ppb. one area was found to contain levels of 30 <br /> ppb, as fixtures installed in this area were not according to spec and <br /> have since been replaced readings should adjust to below 20 ppb once <br /> a few flushings take place. Mr. McQuaid stated since the Classrooms <br /> will not be used until mid january he would recommend voiding the flush- <br /> ing program until - the first of the year then flush for one month after <br /> which a round of samples will be taken. <br /> Mr. Gelish stated flushing will no longer* be required however would <br /> like a round. of sampling performed erre week prior to classroom reopening. <br /> 4. ) Letter from D.E.P. re: Lead in school water - Mr. McQuaid informed <br /> the Board he will forward samples. of ail three school buildings, as <br /> eii a , water bubbler serial numbers to Lee Tripp at the Southeast <br /> Region, hick should satisfy their requirements. <br /> . Notice of meeting re: Non-criminal disposition -R Board members acknowl- <br /> edged <br /> no ledged e eiving the notice. <br /> . j Letter from Clean Harbors re: Household- hazardous waste collection Mr. <br /> Quaid stated he will research this matter. <br /> . Letter from Board to K. Ki vine re; Willowbend - Mr. McQuaid e piained <br /> D.E.P. ' s legal division has not Concluded as to whether or not the indivi- <br /> dual homes Can , should or must 9tie in to the treatment plant and until the <br /> decision is rendered no objections to individual installation of the sep- <br /> tic <br /> ep- <br /> tiC systems will be received. <br /> Board members forwarded their signatures to the letter. <br /> . Copy of 'latest communi ation from D.E.P. re: Pilot stud y - Mr. Greelish <br /> commented that the Selectmen have authorized remaining monies to be utilized <br /> to Continue the pilot study. <br />
