■ r
Mr. Doherty asked if Mr. Chea was the only one with thertifi ate.
IVIS. Chen stated that Christy Chea has the certificate.
Mr. Harrington asked if she had taken the course also.
Ms. Chea replied that she hadn't taken the course yet.
Mr. Doherty asked the BOLI members if the modification put before thorn was
sufficient.
Mr. Harrington replied that it would be as long as the balance would he
contingent upon the second last four{-month success completion of the contract.
Mr. Doherty reiterated that if everything were going good thea the modification
would be okay. If it were not going good then they would have to revert to the
original contract.
Ir. Ball asked if A3 should change to 8 hours. (Unfortunately the tape stopped
and the conclusion was missing from the second side of the tape.)
Mr. Doherty continued with Section B of the contract.
B 1. It was completed.
D2. It stays the sane.
B3. Mr. Neelon stated that the bi-weekly would change to bi-monthly. This would
be determined after a BOH inspection.
Mr. Harrington wanted to re-confirm that they were training to limit the whole
training to the two months. If they are totally clean for the two months that the
four months remaining no other inspections and training are going to occur?
Mr. Neelon replied that that was correct. But, they were referring to inspections
by Dr. Wong. Certainly they would occur through the BOH. They are assuming
that the BOH would come in after those two months and make sure that it agrees
with Dr. Wongrs findings.
Mr.. Doherty continued that the BOH is going to inspect for enforcement purposes.
Dr. Wong is going to inspect to see if his own training is working. If Dr. Wong
comes in and finds that-the performance doesn't meet the requirements ofthe
inspection. Thea obviously he is going to kick in some more training, which will
mean additional funditig. what is the ultimate goal here? We are trying to reduce
the training. They have just shaved seven hours off contingent upon good
performance. Are we trying to say here that the inspection plan by the consultant
should only talo place within the first two months? Thea is it also contingent
upon good performance saying that if it great after the first two months we really
don't creed to have anymore o f I r-. Tong's inspections? He asked Mr-.
