Harrington and Veronica A. Warden. THE TAPE Is NOT PART OF THE MEETING: IT Is FOR THE PURPOSE of TRANSCRIPTION N ONLY, Mr. John Doherty, Chairman: 11 sign warrants. Warrants signed. . Approve minutes of February 21, 2002 and March 3rd, 2002. The last page on both sets of minutes the "Executive Session" portion needed to be moved to "Discussion" as there was no Executive session held at either of the board meetings. Ms. Carron noted the correction. Mr. Ball made a motion to approve the minutes of February 21, 2002 and March 3rd, 2002. Mr. Santos seconded the motion. Motion passed. APPOINTMENT:T: Daniel S. Tavares, Illegal Dumping Mr. Tavares was present for his appointment. Mr. Darrington began by stating that he and Ills, Warden went out and drove along William Mingo Road, which is south off of L.ovell's Road. They found two areas, which had trash with Mr. Tavares' name in it. The BOH seat hires a letter and a $300.00 citation. Mr. Tavares requested the appointment in order to contest the letter and the citation. Mr. Tavares began by stating that he was shocked when he received the letter and came to the BOF and spoke with Nis. Warden, Ills. Warden advised him to come to the meeting. All he could tell therm is that he did net dump any trash at this location. He lived in this town for 14 years before he moved to Falmouth. He nearer dumped any trash in the town before. He would have no reason to do it now after he has been gone for over one year. Mr. Ball asked him if he lived in Falmouth. Mr. Tavares reiterated that he doesn't live in l lashpee. He lives in Falmouth.
