Mr, Santos stated that it was for any new installation or change of <br /> ownership. That is hover the regulation reads. <br /> Ms. Grady asked it it would be appropriate to have the new owner or a <br /> representative. <br /> Mr. Santos agreed that that would probably be appropriate. <br /> Mr. Carboneau stated that they asked hire if they should come this week <br /> He suggested that they wait until they are on the formal agenda. <br /> Mr. Santos reiterated that Mr. arboneau follow the recommendations for <br /> a formal presentation on his request with the BOH and meet with there <br /> ainS <br /> Tobacco Regulation <br /> Member of the audience asked for an update on the smoking issue. <br /> Mr. Santos stated that the status was the same. <br /> Member of the audience asked what was the date.that they submitted the <br /> material to the town counsel. <br /> Nis# Garron replied that it had been six weeks. <br /> Member of the audience asked if it went direct from the BOH or the town <br /> cleric. <br /> Mr. Santos stated that it went the selectmen's office* <br /> rh <br /> Ms. Grady stated that it vert in July and it was getting ridiculous* <br /> Another member of the audience wanted to suggest that when Mr. Ball <br /> stated that he was threatened about this matter,He should have reported <br /> it to the police. she felt that if anyone was threatened by the tobacco <br /> interest the police should be notified right away. It made no sense to her <br /> that anyone on.the board should be threatened ht all ever. They have <br /> police for protection for these types of situations. <br /> Mr. Santos stated that the police were notified. They had letters sent to <br /> them here. <br /> Being no further business, Ms. Grady made a motion to adjourn this <br /> meeting at 8:14 PM. Mr. Santos seconded it. Motion.passed. <br /> 1 <br />
