f
t1e in to town water when available. This will be signed and recorded by
the buyer. The abutter that is affected will be notified due to the variance
to wells of less than 10 01,, He had spoken to both Mr. Santos and Mr. Ball
about this property. He was bringing 1s. Grady up to speed. This
property's existing leaching has a well and a septic that was nearer
carefully followed when they were put in. This is something that has
occurred on both Degrasse and Tracy Lane. This was an existing property
with the cesspool being 182 from their own well and 601 or so from the well
across the street. The ori-site well was tested and it was normal. He went
out there with ars installer. They loosed at the area wells and septic. They
pulled all the files. There really weren't any good options even for moving
the wells, "There is no good place to put therm. This is a corner lot and
every place you moved it infringed on somebody else. They only option
available was to pint the septic in the exact same spot and get further
away from the one abutter that was across the street. That was their
solution to the problem.
Mr. Santos continued by stating that they have had to do this in the past,
The new system that is going in now is actually going to be better that
what was in the ground. Also, there will be notification to the buyer either
on the deed or the sale agreement that they acknowledge the lack of
mandatory separation from the regulation. This is being done in order to
protect the BOH and the seller from any possible future problems with this
particular issued
r, F arrington stated #hat that property is only three properties away
from town water. But, they can't force the homeowner to do anything until
there is some problem with the wells. That is the way the regulation i
written right now. It is not available by the street. But, when it is made
i
available that affidavit will be signed. He had spoken to the neer buyers
and they want the town water. So when it is made available they will
i
connect.
Mr. Santos made a motion to approved the distance to the well with the
conditions that the buyer receive a letter advising therm of this situation
and an affidavit that they will hook up to'tori water within 60 days of
availability and the'abutter will be notified of the less than 100 of
distance to their well. Ms. Grady seconded the motion. Motion passed.
The board members forwarded their signatures to the emergency repair
certificate.
Autumn Drive
1r. Harrington indicated that breakout was observed at the septic tank.
This is a three-bedroom residence. The intent is to install a 29
leach tank with four infiltrators. There is a greater that 1001 but less than
2
