i TOWN OF MASHPEE BOARD OF HEALTH September 5.", 2002 Meeting was called to order at 7:17 PM. y Members present: L. Glenn Santos, Steven R, Ball, MaryRose Grady, Glen E. Darrington and Veronica A. Glenn Santos, Chairman APPOINTMENT:T: David Carboneau Deer Crossing Mr, Carboneau began by introducing Mr. Charles HaJJar as the gentleman who was going to be purchasing Deer Crossing from him, -He continued b stating that he found out when they were doing the Title V inspections that any property over 600 GPD has to install a denitrification system. He was unaware of that fact prior to the inspections. They would like to request that they be allowed to proceed and close on the sale and within twelve months Mr. Hajjar will design and install the denitrification system or possibly tie into one of the adjoining properties that have 4 waste treatment plants. It would take some time to speak with the parties involved to see if it is a feasible plan. Mr. Tudan,ian offered to let him tie in to his property two years ago. He was unsure of Mr. Tulanian' current situation. Mr. Ball interjected that he couldn't depend on that option. Mr. Carboneau agreed and continued by stating that the Mr. Fudala had told him that the Mashpee Commons was looking for someone to tie into their plant in order to eliminate some of their mitigation costs. He was unsure of what was going on with them whether they were doing an expansion or not. It will just take some time to determine, which is the better way to go or if it was better to do an onsite denitrification system. Mr. Ball asked if this request was in writing. Mr. Carboneau replied that the BOH requested an agreement in writing that that would be done. Mr, Ball asked if the other board members had a problem with this request.
