Grady was referring to food service <br /> establishments. <br /> Ms. Grady agreed with Mr. Harrington. <br /> Mr. Mitro osta s. asked-how they could designate an area if they are going <br /> to be 101 or 201 away. <br /> Ills. Grady explained that her concern was that they would smoke to <br /> close to where his patio would be. That they would be smoking too close <br /> to the entrance to the restaurant, she felt that there should be something <br /> that would show thein where 101 was from the restaurant so that they <br /> could smoke in the appropriate place. <br /> Mr. Darrington added that it would advise the non-smokers as to what is <br /> the smoking area. <br /> Mr. Mitrokostas stated that with his food service he could serge food up <br /> to this so many feet and then with the 10' he couldn't put his table <br /> outside of 101 because people are going smoke. That would put thein out <br /> in the middle of the parking lot again, 122 days. <br /> Mr. Santos continued by reviewing section VIl1 Violations and Penalties. <br /> Mr, Harrington stated that the first was standard. <br /> Mr. Santos read from the regulation outlining the cost of the penalty, <br /> which was $50.00 for the first offense. <br /> IIIb. Ball stated that he wanted to change that to one dollar and revisit it <br /> in three months. <br /> Ms. Muse asked who was going to monitor the establishments for <br /> compliance. <br /> Mr. Ball responded that they would eventually figure that out. <br /> Mr. Santos stated that if someone were to walk into an establishment <br /> that is non-smoking, They see someone smoking and the complaint <br /> wines in and it is investigated. That is part of the regulation that is going <br /> 4 <br />
