5 <br /> 1 <br /> June Daly as the animal control officer for the town of IVlashpee. Dr. Mark <br /> Oldham is to be appointed as the veterinarian for the town of Mashpee. <br /> Ms. Grady wanted something clarified. Did these people go out and <br /> inspector horses? <br /> Mr. Harrington responded that it was for horses only. <br /> Ms. Grady wanted to know if either one of there had any expertise with <br /> horses? She was just asking. <br /> Ills. Warden responded that they absolutely deal with horses. <br /> IVIS. Grady countered that net all vets deal with large animals and she <br /> didn't believe that either Ms. Daly or Mr. Oldham had that expertise. <br /> Ills. Warden responded that Ibis. Daly has had a lot of experience with <br /> horses. <br /> Mr. Harrington added that she does the stable inspections. <br /> Ms. Carron added that Dr. Oldham was the veterinarian listen on at least <br /> four of the stable applications. They could choose their own veterinarian. <br /> IVIS. Grady wanted to confirm that the BOH had people on the staff that <br /> could go out and make sure that the animals are taken care of. <br /> Ills. warden confirmed that IVIS. Daly and Dr. Oldham work together on the <br /> barn inspections, originally, it was Dr. Brands way back when, Then Ills. <br /> Daly carne to a meeting and discussed what went on. The board then <br /> broke the fees up to include both the vet and'Ms. Daly. originally the <br /> $900.00 went to Dr. Brands. They broke it down to $450.00 apiece when <br /> Dr, Oldham took over. <br /> IVIs. Grady asked if that was the yearly amount allotted to them. <br /> IVIS. Warden confirmed that that was yearly amount that was allotted to <br /> them. <br /> IVIr. Santos asked if they needed the state forms or could they make the <br /> motion without there; <br /> IVIS. Warden replied that they didn't have them yet. The state was a little <br /> late. It begins March V, 2003. They were a couple of weeks late with this <br /> process this year. It was this time every year that the board votes on it <br /> 2 <br />
