The motion was approve two
fourteen-day variances for the above noted motion. Ms. Grady seconded
the notion, Motion passed,
Mr. Anderson clarified that he walked away with the full knowledge that
he could tell his employees that were under 1that they could continue to
work..
his. Grady noted that she had no idea that employees under the age of 1
could sell tobacco products.
Mr. Anderson continued by stating that all he could say that both he and
another person from Mobil Mart on four different occasions that they
would like to have been involved in this process. To the best of his
knowledge he was never sent anything in writing about the proposed
charges. It thought it was sad...
Ms. Grandy interjected that he would have had to attend the meetings and
it was also in draft form in the Mashpee Enterpise.
Mr, Anderson stated that there were 37 different boards that regulate his
business. If he attended all of the meetings for four and five hour
discussions he would net have time to do his job. They even requested
once in writing that they be notified. The other thing, while he was here,
almost every year he hes come to the beard and asked if when the CCTCP
notifies therm that there has been a sting could they get information about
- those things to give positive feedback to their employees such as stating
that they passed. They have requested this information since 1995, He a
a retailer in this community has never been notified of the information of
time, date and cashier that did it when it was positive. But, each and
every time it has been negative it has been in the 1 ashpee Enterprise
before the retailers have been notified. The last three times he received
information that they had passed. He called Bob Collette exp. He asked for
details from hires so that he could give positive feedback, When they had a
meeting for Mobil requiring them to check identification, The first thing
the Mobil east coast trainer requested of the torn was that they needed
positive feedback. He felt that most of the people in the town want to be
part of the solution and not part of the problem.
Ms. Grady asked if they get a report.
2
k
