that there was no limit, Falmouth, if you look in the zoning book it says
"four dogs" and you may have one litter per year. It was in black and
white and was very very clear. Then they said that this was l lashpee so
- they better check the zoning. They told them that there was no limit. He
spoke to roan in the building department and both of therm reviewed the
zoning book. There wasn't anything that said that. They called and asked
i the people here that should know and they told them that there was no
number.
Mr. Bateman asked therm how they could comply with something that
wasnit on the books.
Mr. Ball stated that apparently there was a numbernow.
.
Mr. Harrington stated that he reviewed the state law on the internet. H
was not an expert on dogs. He hadn't been to the website before. He was
going to look up other MGL. It was a lot of what he did. He found the
information pretty readily. That was why
they went to the town to see what they would allow.
Mr. Harrington understood his position.
Ills. Grady asked again if the state regulation was limited to four dogs.
Mr. Harrington confirmed that that was correct.
Ills. Grady asked if they could go below that if they wanted too.
Mr. Harrington responded that they could be stricter. They couldn't add to
that number*
Mr. Ball asked what els. rady's opinion was in this matter.
Ms. Grady responded that she felt that they should limit them to tour dogs.
Then if they get things worked out the could go with this other plan to get
it up to code.
Mr. Ball agreed with Ms. Gradyfs recommendation* Hewasn't sure how
