f
and McGrath, They were going to be preparing the design and permitting
for the OAR systems out at Deer crossing. What they were talking about
doing is upgrading systems A, B and D. What they would be doing is
placing the OAR system components in between the existing septic tank
and D-bo c. The initial component after they bleed the settling tank would
be ars OAR tank, which they call a 'T'I. That was where they aerate and
nitrify the effluent. The second tank they call T . That was the
denitrification tank. From there they flow by gravity to the D-boxes or in
the case of building A because they couldn't make it by gravity they would
need to install a pump chamber. What he had was material to pass around
the table was a conceptual...
Mr. Ball asked if the location on the plan was carbo's.
Mr. Hajjar replied that it was carbo's and Michelle's.
Mr, Tint Santos noted that building B is office and retail.
Mr. Hajjar added that building B also had a couple of restaurants.
Mr. Tim Santos showed the board members some conceptual layouts so
that they could understand the relationship between Til and T2, the septic
tank and the D-bo . They currently have three of these systems on-line
out at Otis Air Force base in the testing facility. They put through the test
results from December through the current date for the septic. They have
the total nitrogen for T2 and T1 and the sump. All of the systems out there
are wrapped in a bag to collect the effluent to go to the treatment plant
prior to discharge.
Mr. Bail asked whet the flow design was,
Mr. Tim Santos replied that at the testing facility they were currently
sized for 330 CPD.
Mr. Newton interjected that it was 440 GPD in triplicates
Mr. Ball re-iterated 440 GPD times three.
Mr. Newton stated that that was correct.
Mr. Tim Santos continued by stating that basically if they ran through the
numbers they were probably averaging total nitrogen from the septic tank
of 38, The total nitrogen leaving the sump was around eight. This was a
quick bar graph to show that reduction. The total nitrogen leaving T2 was
around 14 ont average.
