Representing 1Hinigret
Avenue
Mr. Harrington began by stating that there was an initial submittal to the
department. He did a review and advised Cape & Islands that they notify
the abutters. He requested that they put elevations on HBD because of
the elevation of the pend. He wanted to tie in the elevation of the pond
and use that as some tie to groundwater, They determined a highest pend
elevation. Mr. Sanicki completed those requests, one of the abutters is
here. He wanted Mr. Sanicki to do the technical aspects of the system.
Mr. Sanicki was present from cape & Islands representing the applicants
for 190 Ninigret Avenue. He began by stating that they had a small 7,958
square foot lot. This was a pre-exciting three-bedroom house. This part
was on a slab and the other part was on a crawl space type of situation.
Dight outside the door was the cesspool. They dug a test hole in the drive
and in the lawn. They found groundwater at g down, He designed it
based on the groundwater here and it's proximity to the pond. They
brought Mr. Herrington in and he recommended that they bring all of these
elevations down on the N BD. They did. They adjusted the groundwater
about one half a foot, He adjusted another half of a foot and it put
everything out of the ground. Because of the forty inches to groundwater,
plus another six-inch adjustment they were thirty-four inches below grade
to groundwater. He has to do the bottom of the system at five-feet. He had
a mounded system, He was proposing a concrete containment structure,
Waterproof the interior and a30-mil liner on the interior.
