Cape
Islands showed the marking line that this was where they were marking
the boundaries.
Mrs sanicki asked there to point out the marking line.
Mr. Dougherty pointed out the marking line.
Mr. San cki felt that what Mr. Dougherty was looking at was the dig safe
marking on the street and he was confusing it with the survey. He pointed
out a dig safe marking. Was it in blue?
Mrs. Dougherty responded that the marking was in white.
Mr. Herrington responded that white was dig safe also.
Mr. Santos interjected that whoever the contractor is, when they call dig
safe. The site has to pre-marked in white. They usually put their initials.
Mr. Dougherty interjected that they went for.a garage permit, just last
year, and the I afferty's stopped them from putting a garage up because of
the boundary lines. Now they were asking them to accept a septic system
with boundary lines that were still not clearly defined.
Mrs. Dougherty continued by stating that the ZBA told them at that time
that how you settle these boundary lines. They couldn't issue them any
permit.
Mr. Dougherty re-iterated that now they were asking for the same thing
from them.
Mrs, Dougherty wanted to know if that system was going to end up within
two-feet of therm or five*feet. There was a three-foot floating difference
here.
Mr. Harrington asked when that bound was set.
Mrs. Dougherty responded that it was set back in 1989,
Mr. sa nicki responded that he didn't know if they set or some other
company.
