4
I
water and a green filar on top, she spoke with Julie Hutchinson from the
DEP, she requested that Ms, Warden do some PA, work in the
neighborhood, she subsequently did that by going to all of the business on
Echo Read, she spoke to a few of the installers on the road and AGM
Marine, They all have the proper waste containers that were filed with the
fire station, After doing all of that investigative work, she wiled Ms.
Hutchinson back. The DEP had pumped 1700 gallons from the catch
basins, The substance was so diluted that they might not be able to read
the analysis. They thought it might be anti-freeze but they could verify it.
Tuesday they were still in the process of finding a laboratory to analyze
the particular material. something unusual happened the other clay.
Ms, Garron interjected that Mr, samry was in looking for things to fill the
paper with. she ran the curious and wonderful by hirer.
Ms, Warden Mated that Ms. Hutchinson thought that there was a
possibility of a die being dumped in there. She wanted to know if there
were any testing going on in the area. They found some die packets. Mr,
sarnry usually told her that he had heard that it was one of those Souse
Houses. It was exactly what it could be. That sanitizer was blue-green.
One of those guys might have come by and didn't feel like going all the
way back to the show and dumped it in one of those drains, It had rained
the day before. The catch basins were filled. Thea unbeknownst to hire in
the dark, uncovered one and tried to dump it in there. The catch basin
was full and it over-flowed into the parking area. It got so diluted...this
was all guess work, But, it made sense to her that there was a. good
possibility that it was one of those situations,, Ms. Warden called Ms.
Hutchinson back and gave her a heads up that this was the situation. Ms,
Hutchinson didn't call her back interestingly enough, This was just to let
the board know that this occurred.
Mr. Harrington stated that if they tested for coliform it would be human
waste. But, testing for coliform was not typically done on a HA MAT spill.
IIIb. Santos asked if anyone had received a phone call from Mr. Green this
week.
Ms. Garron stated that Mr. Samry brought up Mr. Green's name because
she thought that was where he got the information.
Mr. Santos Mated that he got a call from Mr. Green who was tori by a
couple of natures who were out hunting in the early morning or after dark
who saw a Bousefield truck dumping near the water of Ashurnet Road.
They saw the truck with the valve open. They were going to try to find
better location. It sounds life a lazy driver. They said it was a Souse
1
i
