r '
r
o-
r
IVIS. Warden stated that that was her point. That was why the letter stated
that the alarm would be wired to the service counter.
Mr. Bricker then introduced Mr. Rich i idgely from Tyco, electrician. He
was onsite for the wiring of the alarm.
Mr. Rich Ridgely stated that the overflow alarm was originally installed on
the 25th of August. One of the builders installed the piping and hooked it
into the car wash. The alarm in the carwash bay and the exit door on the
left had an audible sound along an orange visual sound. At that point it
was expressed to him that they needed an audible alarm in the store. So it
was hooked Rycols carwash system, which was a network system, that
kept "code 6511 and says "tanks full- °o".
Mr. Harrington asked where this message showed up and beeped.
Mr. Ridgely replied that it did it at the carwash itself. It was right
underneath the cashier.
Mr. Harrington asked if there was a control panel.
Mr. l idgely wanted to explain the F y o carwash Control Network. Their
network, when there.was a trouble code out there, when there are non-
attendant issues, it prints up a code. He gave them ars example, an 110411 is
an overload insurer. It will print out the code and say 110411 overload
tripped check carwash now. In this case it would printout a code ",
which in tura would notify the attendant in two ways. The first step was
to shut down the dryer and the customers would cone in and say that the
dryers weren't working. The second step would be that code 65 would be
printed out In the store right underneath the cashier. They would have to
visualize the two cashiers. If you were standing here it was a white box, It
stated F yco...that was the quickest most inexpensive way to get an
audible alarm inside. He did not want to use radio frequency becatise.the
gas station has meter wages and pumps that are networked-that could
give false alarms that would create problems. Most of the transponders
only transpond 301 at a time before you get repeaters and there was
nowhere to put a repeater out theres
Mr. Bricker added that inside the building sometime in August or early
September there was something put in to try to address the tank issue.
Mrs Fidgely stated that the alarm was in the tank and the visual alarm was
in the building. September 51h, 2003, he spoke to IVIS. Warden and told her
that he had got it to where the box beeps because she granted a visual
alarm. Mr. Bricker called him to try to get it put in as a rush. He went
1
