These were solid walls
Ms. Billings stated that they were solid walls. There was an entrance that she would
be placing a partition in to me an entrance. Dight now it was an open area. She
would be putting in an entrance that would go up to the ceiling as required. From
where it started back it was well within forty-five feet that she needed for her station.
It was actually double the area that she would need.
Mr. Santos stated that this area was not walled.
Ms. Billings re-iterated that it was walled. But, where you entered into it there was
no door entrance just a threshold.
Mr. Santos stated that that was one of his concerns. He didn't want people popping
in and out of the booth. He wanted one area just for her availability only.
Ms. Grady asked ed if each one of these booths would potentially have patients.
Ms. Billings stated that the booths were the-tanning salon. Right now she had eight
existing tanning booths there. She'll upgrade there. Her clients will have to walk
through the shared waiting area and bathroom. But, her workspace will be totally
separate from the other areas.
Mr. Santos' other concern was her bagging up the medical waste and bringing it
back to where she worked. He had concerns about her transporting that in her own
vehicle for her protection and the protection and others. She has contracted with a
company so that they could actually trach who tools the waste and where it went.
Ms. Grady asked what she would be placing the waste in for transportation.
Ms. Billings stated that it would go in a Sharp's container. They would pick it up as
needed. It would be once a year, every six months or whenever it was full. She
would pay them a fee to take it away. She thought it was what the standard company
that people used in this area.
Mr. Darrington did look up the infectious medical regulations. There was no
requirement that there be a contract. But, you would have to go through the full
manifest protocols anyways as far as filling out the documents. Also, there was n
requirement as far as the hauling except that it had to be placed in three mil hags or
better for storage and transportation. But, all in all, it was better to have a contract
with someone to do this for you.
2
