Oktoberfest Temporary Food Permits
Mr. Harrington stated that the Oktoberfest was coming up the Whand 1 Ota'. He
understood that two of the health agents would not be available for the September
23'd, 2004, meeting. He figured at this time that he would request that the board
review the applications. There was only one vendor who was not SerSafe trained.
They were in the process of trying to resolve that problem somehow.
Ms. Grady asked the other board members if that sounded okay to them.
Mr. Santos asked who was not Ser S fe certified.
Mr. Harrington stated that it was Boars Head. They donate all of their meat. They d
rt have a slur of people cone in and work the unit. There was a lot of oversight. They
were trying to get someone in the Booster's to get ServSafe trained so that when the
Booster's has a non-profit event. They could act as the overseeing ServSafe food
certified manager, which is allowed by the food code. But, to date they didn't have
anyone.
Mr. Santos stated that he couldn't vote on this because going to be at the Booster's
booth at the Oktoberfest. He was ServSafe certified.
