The board of health approved the Title V design plan <br /> variances with the following conditions: 1. The specifications for the ultra-violet <br /> light are to be submitted to the BOH prior to issuance of Disposal Works <br /> Construction permit. 2. Operations and maintenance contract shall be provided that <br /> includes quarterly testing of total nitrogen for two years from the Micro Fast 0.5 <br /> denitrification unit. Maintenance- f the ultra-violet light sill be included in the <br /> M contract. The effluent after the UV light shall be sampled/analyzed quarterly for <br /> two years for fecal coliform. Discharge limits of fecal coliform shall not exceed 200 <br /> colonies per 100 ml sample. The 0 & M contract shall be provided prior to issuance <br /> f Occupancy Permit. 3. The property corners are to be staked prior to construction. <br /> Mr. Santos-seconded the motion. Motion passed. <br /> . Oktoberfest Temporary Food Permits <br /> Mr. Harrington stated that the Oktoberfest was coming up the Whand 1 Ota'. He <br /> understood that two of the health agents would not be available for the September <br /> 23'd, 2004, meeting. He figured at this time that he would request that the board <br /> review the applications. There was only one vendor who was not SerSafe trained. <br /> They were in the process of trying to resolve that problem somehow. <br /> Ms. Grady asked the other board members if that sounded okay to them. <br /> Mr. Santos asked who was not Ser S fe certified. <br /> Mr. Harrington stated that it was Boars Head. They donate all of their meat. They d <br /> rt have a slur of people cone in and work the unit. There was a lot of oversight. They <br /> were trying to get someone in the Booster's to get ServSafe trained so that when the <br /> Booster's has a non-profit event. They could act as the overseeing ServSafe food <br /> certified manager, which is allowed by the food code. But, to date they didn't have <br /> anyone. <br /> Mr. Santos stated that he couldn't vote on this because going to be at the Booster's <br /> booth at the Oktoberfest.
