Mr. Lane stated that they go into dry wells. <br /> Ms. Warden felt hat they night have contributed to the failure of the system. <br /> Mr. Lane thought it was the tank collapsing. He was told that once they pumped the <br /> tank out. It was not strong enough structurally to hold back the pressure, which made <br /> it partially collapse. <br /> Ms. Warden thought that they might want to change the gutters. <br /> Mr. Rhodes was the abutter at 89 Bluff Avenue. <br /> Mr. Shay continued by stating that he had been granted access onto the property <br /> behind them to identify the well. <br /> Mr. Rhodes had a question. He pointed out where his septic system was located. H <br /> then pointed out the septic systems for all of the other neighbors. He felt that there <br /> was a convolution of septic all coming into one concentrated area that troubled them. <br /> Ms. Warden stated that it troubled the hoard, too. <br /> Mr. Rhodes stated that it troubled him that they were going from 10' to 2.5'. His <br /> assumption was that they didn't create the 10' code for no reason. They would prefer <br /> not to give up the 10' philosophy. <br /> Ms. Warden told Mr. Rhodes that the board thought that all of those folks should get <br /> together and put in a mini-treatment plant, which would settle the entire problem. <br /> Mr. Shay stated that they were actually going to have to address that issue. They were <br /> no longer going to put the field there. They were going to attempt to put something <br /> where the existing was. They would put a septic tank hack there. Hopefully that <br /> would alleviate his issues. That mould go from a distribution box to a'Very long <br /> skinny field. <br /> 4 <br /> Mr. Ball made a motion to continue this agenda item until the next hearing. Mr. <br /> Santos seconded the motion. Motion passed. <br /> APPOINTMENT: Joanne Fitzpatrick—47 Birch Wa <br /> Mr. Feats Boyd, one of.th partners of Boyd and Boyd F.C. was present n behalf off <br /> the applicant. His firm was theco-trustee of the trust who had the beneficial interest <br /> in the property of 47 Birch Way. They had a buyer on the property and in the course <br /> of the sale they found out that the septic tic system diel not meet Title V which he <br /> expected. what wasn't expected on his part was the number of bedrooms that were <br /> apparently inside this unit. what they were proposing to do was to go hack much <br /> closer to the original plans that were filed with this hone.
