It was the first of
the year with neer permits being issued. He owed the town money. He appreciated
what they had done for the town. They were also picking up businesses 1n town: They
Frere doing curbside and other businesses in tern. All that trash needed to be trached
back to this tern. He was not trying to be derogatory. But, he was coming across a
little cocky here with the suggestion that this was just a little thing here and they had
other priorities. He was not in this business but his priority should be payment to the
town of M shpee. He went over there and dumped their trash. Mashp e paid the bill
and-then they bill him. That was the problem that he had. He Was told that they did not have a permit
and the 2004 was revolved.
Mr. Amaral had to empty the town's containers.
Mr. Santos was not tallying about town buildings but.other places.
Mr. Amaral stated that he did his route.
Mr. Santos Mated that basically they just ignored the order from the BOH.
Mt. Johnston stated that they did not ignore it at all.
Mr. Santos asked why their trucks in town picking up trash then after receipt of this
letter.
Mr. Johnston stated that he was in contact:with Ms. Warden on a regular basis. Are
the truck able to go into ton` No they were not. He made sure that the routing did
not go into town. He asked Ms. Laurent today if he could pass a truck through. He
had been in complete contract with the DPW. They slid not go into Town to pick up.
He told his drivers today that it was a $300.00 firm. He told thein last week. They had
not picked up the trash at any,of the containers or so forth when they were told not to
go into town.
Ir. Amaral stated that after the letter they did go into torn because it did not tell
them not to erne into torn.
Mr. Santos felt that they put the issue to rest because one was saying yes and the other
was saying n .
Mr. Johnson stated that.when Ms. warden told therm that the check was approved and
that she had spoken with the board members at home.
