They did an As Built plan that shows <br /> how things are right now. <br /> DISCUSSION <br /> SSIO <br /> FYI—MAHB Certification for hoard Members—November 1 ,, 2005 <br /> Glen Harriington stated that we need to put-in for it now so we can get approval from the.Town. The <br /> agenda is all new this year. Glen recommended that the BOH sign up for it, as the legal part is excellent <br /> and well worth it. The MHOA is the-first.week of November,, Nov. 2nd,3rd,4th in Hyannis. Glen also <br /> recommended that the Board members attend these sessions. <br /> FYI—House Bill 449 State Retirement system for Public Health officials <br /> Glen Harrington reported that he wrote a letter of support fbr the louse Bill449 from the BOH which <br /> Mates that public health officials be bumped up from A to B to get additional percentages for retirement <br /> which would put health.officials in'the same class as building, plumbing and electric and gas inspectors. <br /> Glen stated that he feels strongly that as they get.the same salaries, the BOHh uld be in' the same <br /> class. Glenn Santos agreed to investigate whether the 1301,1 members would be considered as health <br /> officials. He suggested that Glen Harrington write a letter to Senator Teresa Murray, ehainma.n of the <br /> Ways and Means, to solicit her support. <br /> Landfill Mowing and Vent Repair <br /> Glen Harrington reported that the memo was sent out to Catherine to have DPW fix the vents and also to <br /> let her know that DPW is doing the movwring, as the company contracted to do the work never completed <br /> the work, and will not be paid the. boo for the job. <br /> Air Force Response <br /> Glen Harrington reported on his response back from the Air Force regarding the water sampling. They <br /> said that they are not d ing it for any of the other towns, so they basically are not doing it anymore. <br /> Glean Santos recommended that Giem Harrington forward the letter upstairs to Joyce Mason and the <br /> Board of Selectmen and also get the information into the newspapers. <br /> The next meeting of the Board of Health is scheduled for Thursday, July 28, 2005 at the Board of Health <br /> office.
